“I recently had a very bad experience with Rover when my family and I went away for the holiday. Lucy was with a different sitter, who I thought I knew and could trust, for 10 days. It was the longest she has been away without a family member watched her. When I came to pick her up, she stunk of perfume. Then when I took her home she was lethargic, her back end was covered in urine and feces, and one of her anal glands was ruptured. Lucy could not walk or move for days. She had a horrible bladder infection and was just shaking. I tried to report the sitter, for animal negligence, but nothing came of it. It seemed like Lucy was crated for extended hours at the time where she can’t be crated due to her liver disease and seizures. When it was time to have Lucy watched again, I was hesitant. Keila’s meet and greet put me at ease and made me trust a sitter again. Keila is by far the best sitter I have had since I moved to upstate New York! I can see now why she has so many repeat customers! I got one will be coming back to her for pet sitting again. I have an elderly yorkie mix who is over 14 years old and needs a lot of attention at this time. She can still be full of pro, but some days she just sleeps and need love. When I picked Lucy up from her visit you could tell how relaxed and happy she was. She was not shaking and even the pictures seemed like she was comfortable. Keila was absolutely amazing and kept my old gal happy. Between the constant snuggles, and keeping her in her own safe spot from bigger dogs, my Lil Luce was incredibly happy and full of pep when she got home. Thank you again for treating Lucy like one of your own. I would give her 12 stars if I could. I now feel good about traveling while my elderly dog is being cared for.”
