“Dave and Liz are lifesavers... almost literally! I had a true emergency and had to be admitted to the hospital overnight. Darwin had been left at home in his enclosure, with just a little food and water. I have no friends or family in the area that can handle an active, rambunctious dog. Thank goodness I know Liz and Dave! Darwin has stayed with them on multiple occasions and has always had a good time with them. I called Dave and he drove over to my house and picked him up. He stayed overnight with them until I could get back on my feet. They are both really good with dogs, especially Dave, who is firm but loving with willful dogs. Today, I was able to pick Darwin up and he looked great. Thank you so much for everything during a hard time! Knowing them gave me peace of mind so that I could concentrate on recovering my health.”

As this was the first time we were nervous however MEG calmed that down immediately by sending photos throughout the day all weekend. “Lorrie watched my two pups for 4 days the second week of April. It was apparent from our initial meeting in March that she really loves animals and that she knows her stuff. Lorrie indicated that her previous career was a veterinary technician for many years, which put my mind at ease. Her home is set up perfectly to attend to the needs of the dogs in her care. The home features a large, fenced in yard which allows dogs to get their outdoor time several times a day. She sent me daily text updates which included photos of my dogs. Being 600 miles away, the daily updates were very much appreciated. When I picked up my pups they were happy, healthy and they both gave her farewell kisses. Nice! I highly recommend Lorrie to anyone considering a pet sitter while you are out of town.”
