About: I have raised all animals from cows to dogs to cats! I am a big animal lover at heart and have been living alongside them since I was a kid. Caring for animals runs in our family, as my parents worked for the Idaho Humane Society, where we often fostered dogs and cats from. I also have experience training dogs with my very own dog, Nala, who I got three years ago as a puppy. Overall, love spending time with all animals of all personalities and have the experience to make them feel comfortable and safe! I currently work part-time for a bank and go to school. This translate generally takes up my day from 8 am to 5 pm. There are gaps throughout my day I am able to do check ins! Unfortunately, I do not have any place to board pets myself. I am well accompanied to taking care of animals in their own home though! I intend to satisfy both the pet and owner by following all directions by the owner, caring for the animal just like I would my own, and devoting my time and attention to the pet.
10. Allison M.
“Allison watched my 14 year old lab, my 10 year old drama queen shitzu, my two cats, and my three year old husky. I was scared to let someone watch my animals because they are escape artists, but I know Allison personally and knew she was the woman for the job. She was at my house tending to them more than I asked of her. She took my husky and lab on separate walks because my old lab would not be able to keep up. She texted me many photos during her time watching them and they looked so happy! I’m very glad I took the risk and trusted Allison to take care of my family. She is very responsible, timely, and caring. I will definitely be having her watch them again!”

16. Mattison K.
About: Hoping to leave for Thanksgiving? Why not leave your beloved pets in great hands? I have been house-sitting for 7 years now, and it's something I truly enjoy. I am a fourth-year student studying animal science at the University of Idaho. I know that my life will always involve caring for and loving these fun and happy additions to our lives. I have owned horses for the last 10 years and have even had the pleasure of gentling and training my current mare. I can handle basic farm animal maintenance and have experience caring for cows, horses, pigs, goats, chickens, and ducks. I will accommodate all needs, including behavioral and medical. I have experience as a kennel attendant at a dog boarding facility and am a dog groomer, where I have gained exposure and understanding of dog communication and behavior. I have been around all breeds and sizes, with all sorts of quirks and personalities. Every dog and cat has specific needs; you may have specific requests, and I will be happy to adapt perfectly to ensure the best care. I really enjoy taking dogs on adventures, hiking trails, and even taking casual strolls at parks. I will provide mental and physical stimulation for your pet; they certainly won't be bored during my stay. I know each pet counts down until they can see their families again, so my job is to make that time feel like a blink of an eye and as comfortable and natural as possible. I look forward to meeting the pets of the Palouse! I have early morning classes, usually lasting only 1-2 hours, and I also work part-time with shifts that typically span 4-5 hours. Daily walks are a part of my routine and I would definitely love the company. I want your dog to be comfortable in their home, and I would hope to embody some of your own personal routines with your dogs to guarantee a good experience for everyone.
