“Kathryn was our house/dog sitter this July. We have a 12 year old lab mix and Kathryn was kind enough to drive all the way out to Sandy to meet Dakota a week before we left. After seeing Kathryn interact with Dakota I knew she (our dog) would be spoiled and in great hands! She checked in with us several times while we were gone, and I never had to worry. Kathryn also watered our yard and indoor plants, changed our linens for us, and left the house very clean! I have since recommended her to several friends and will hire her again the next time we are out of town. The only hesitation I had of writing this review was that she would book up when I needed her!”

About: I am a stay at home mom of two awesome kiddos, one handsome border collie(Steve) and a large orange furry feline(Samson). We also have a couple of rowdy goats and a flock of beloved chickens. We are blessed to live on a heavenly bit of land (40 acres) with woods, ponds and creeks. It truly is a bit of paradise. We love animals here and thought, "Why not share our blessings with the critters of our community?" About: I work as a Vet Assistant at a local vet clinic and run my own dog training business. I worked for 5 years at the animal shelter as a dog handler, for 2 years I specialized in dog playgroups. I worked at a pet store for 5 years as a pet trainer. I have experience with young animals, medical needs animals and senior pets. In addition I offer in home and on the walk training . I currently work 1 day a week at a vet clinic and run my training facility 4 days a week. I am looking to do more training and fill in the rest of my week. I am available sometimes on the weekends by approved appointments only. On the weekends I am available I will offer boarding in my home and pet adventures for dogs I have a 6 foot privacy fence and 2 friendly dogs at home. On the days that I take dogs to training with me I have an indoor training facility with a large fenced outdoor area as well. When I take dogs out for walks or adventures I require an escape proof collar or harness, when temperatures exceed 85 degrees I will not walk dogs on asphalt or concrete but I will provide brain games to replace the walk

“While my dogs can be high maintenance, Morgan demonstrated a keen instinct for caring for my two dogs. Morgan was responsible, respectable and trustworthy. I have had Morgan stay overnight with my two dogs for 5+ nights multiple times and she continually impresses me with how thorough she is— sending me photos, updates, and check in messages for how my dogs were doing with us gone. You should definitely hire her!”

About: I have been around animals nearly my entire life, and been responsible for the care of many of them since I was a kid. I’ve participated in 4H projects for dogs and horses for several years and over time, I gained more knowledge and experience about animals, which played a big role in choosing the career I want to invest in as a Vet Technician. I have over a year of experience both in a Vet clinic as a Vet Assistant and at a boarding facility, where I am responsible for the care of pets staying in hospital as well as those boarding long-term. This care includes general care (feeding, cleaning up after them, letting them outside, etc.), as well as exercising/play time, enrichment, brushing/bathing, and walks. And most importantly, in my opinion at least, I love animals ❤️ They have played a huge role in my life and I don’t know where I would be without my own pups. I know many others feel the same about their pets, which is why I will provide the same care for them as I would mine, and ensure they feel comfortable and happy in my care. I work part-time with a varying schedule, so I have a lot of variability when it comes to finding time for your fur baby. I am also available for overnight stays or short term trips so you can be away from home easily, knowing your pet will be loved and cared for while you’re gone. When caring for your pet at your home, I will provide the same love and attention as I would to my own. I am always willing to play a game of fetch, tug of war, or go on walks to satisfy your pets exercise needs, as well as provide the love and care they deserve while relaxing inside.

About: I’ve always had a dog in my life and I’ve dog sat/walked many dogs. I currently have a rott and miniature schnauzer. I love small and big dogs and can take care of each. I’ve had the rott since he was a puppy and the miniature schnauzer is 5 months old. I’m currently working full time at sky house up at Schweitzer. I get here at about 730 am and leave around 330 pm. If you’re not too far I can do check ins in the morning, and even if you are far I can always do a check in/walk at night. Unless of course I’m staying at your place, then I can do walks in the morning and night! I have Thursdays and fridays off, so I’m free to spend the whole day with your furballs then! I grew up with a rott, Great Pyrenees, and German Shepard so Im fairly confident handling big dogs on a leash. I believe the most important part of taking care of any animal is playing with them and cuddles.

About: I've had dogs (and other animals) my whole life. I am extremely attentive to my animals. I LOVE them more than anything. I want to give them the best, most loving and fun life they can have. If your pet stays with me, I can guarantee that it will receive an abundance of love, affection and play time. Additionally, I have experience with caring for animals post-surgery. Each of my dogs have had multiple surgeries and I have had to care for them (one even had drainage tubs I would have to drain and clean due to tumor removal) I've also completed 12 weeks of physical therapy sessions with my dog Miss Beans who tore her CCL (knee) and needed a knee brace for 9 months. I love my dogs like they are my children. I work as a teacher, so I walk my dogs before work and hike them after school. For the past 9 months I would also complete 8 different physical therapy exercises with one of my dogs while she was in a knee brace in order to rehab her knee. She has successfully kept all of her muscle mass and range of motion. She's 13! I have two super friendly older dogs. One is a male husky/malamute who is very vocal and loves big hikes. I have another much older female border collie/Aussie mix who is an absolute love. She just likes to sniff around and nap. My home has a fenced in yard on one acre, however I still watch my dogs when they are outside. Since I am a teacher, you'll know that I can juggle many things at once. :)

About: I absolutely love animals. I grew up having dogs and cats and am very comfortable with all different types of breeds. Bonding and connecting with animals is very special to me and I will treat your pet just the same as if they were my own. Spending as much time outdoors is very important to me so I can assure you that your pet will get to be outside playing whenever possible! I have a great big yard that is always available or we can go for hikes that are nearby to your location. My current lifestyle allows me to be open during most mornings and evenings and sometimes during the day. As long as I know ahead of time, I may or may not be able to accommodate some random hours. I can easily have your dog over at my place if this works out better for you. Lots of space to roam and explore with Gold Mountain and other trails nearby.
