She has experience with dogs with medical histories, so that helped to feel like my dog was in good hands. Sadie is communicative and was very understanding about the change in circumstances.”

This was a few weeks after my cat had both eyes removed and was still healing. I was very nervous about leaving my cat for that long, but I completely trusted that Kiersten had the expertise and integrity to honor the contract and be able to determine if there were an issue and act quickly if needed. She still came to my house during a big ice storm, getting stuck there for 6 hours until the roads were cleared!”

About: I have taken care of dogs my entire life! I have been a trusted house sitter for neighbors with multiple pets and cared for my own lab, golden retriever, and sheepadoodle growing up. I’m currently a graduate student on clinical rotations. When I’m not working in the clinic, I am able to care for pets on my days off. I am willing to house sit or perform drop in visits. About: I've taken care of dogs of all sizes since I was 10. Our animals aren't just a household pet, they are family. I will treat your family members with the utmost respect and care they deserve. I am currently working from home, so I have plenty of time to drop in on your fur babies. This makes it convenient for me to drop in first thing in the morning, afternoon, or evening. I have a large fenced in yard and a friendly companion as well. She loves to play with other dogs. If your pet needs time away from others, that's okay, too.

“Pam was so great with my dog who is very skittish around new people! She won't just take on any dog for the money, she'll do a trial run to make sure your dog is a good fit for her own dogs as well as the other boarders. Safety 1st! She will make sure all the dogs know their boundaries, so everyone is happy & safe! The best thing about the day care service she offers is not only do the dogs have a huge area to run & play, but they ALSO get to go for a daily walk! It was WELL WORTH the money to use her day care services because my dog is very high energy & she would come home & sleep half the evening until her bedtime walk! Even though I have moved from the area & it's too far to take my dog to Pam now, I still use Pam if I'm going out of town, driving through the area. My dog flips out when we turn onto Pam's road!”

About: An animal lover since birth, I have spent my life dedicated to animal welfare. I have volunteered at animal shelters, participated in fostering dogs as part of a rescue group, and follow a plant-based and cruelty-free lifestyle. I have puppy sat breeds ranging from shih tzu, chihuahua, beagle, American eskimo, Labrador, pit bull, boxer, Australian cattle dog, Great Dane... and the list goes on! Additionally, I have cared for/fostered/rescued cats, wildlife and farm animals. I have been a Park Ranger for 10 years, specifically studying wildlife. I am currently a resident of Oak Hill, WV where I work as a Park Ranger and live with my furry children-two pit bull mixes-Harper and James.
