“I watched Jennifer with Javie from my Ring doorbell, so I felt like I was there. Javie had a blast running around the yard. However, he found an old rawhide bone in the yard which would not be good for him. To get the old bone away from him, she gave him a new bone from the kitchen, which he preferred and then relinquished the old one. Javie can be very possessive of his toys and bones, so I really appreciated that Jennifer knew how to handle the situation. She was calming and encouraging, she is really good with him. I highly recommend Jennifer to those looking for a a care giver that is looking out for the best for their pet.”

She has become our preferred person when we go out of town to look after Nellie.”

About: Our dogs are our family. We raised 2 Boston terriers from puppies to seniors, for over 12 years. They lived long, happy lives and were alongside us as we grew our family and raised kids. Sadly, both have passed away, but we have a new generation of pups in our household. I feel it’s very important for kids to grow up with pets and learn how to love and care for them. This caretaker venture came about from the joy we have welcoming friends and families pets into our home. Both my husband and I work from home full time. We have flexible schedules, and the kids are away at school during the weekdays. Our dogs have the privilege of being home in the company of their loved ones every day, and we would provide your pets with that same love and care - full time. We live in a single story home where everyone is able to be on the same level together. Additionally, we have a fully fenced back yard. We would permit only one reservation in our home at a time, so we can provide your pet with the level of care they deserve. Our dogs are not territorial and not aggressive. One is medium/high energy and our other is low energy. You are welcome to visit us and have our pets meet if you are considering boarding at our home.

We had an initial meet and greet which went great, although Oya was a little skeptical. That said, she was absolutely phenomenal with Oya over the week I was gone! She was prompt, patient, great communication before and during her visits, photos and best of all developed a relationship and bond with my dog which isn't easy to do. Overall, I can't say enough good things about MacKenzie or her service. She more than exceeded my expectations and provided a peace of mind.
