“I love my 12 year old, blind, toothless, and diabetic Brussels griffon so much it's almost embarrassing. I would bring him with me everywhere in one of those baby slings if I could, but the sad truth is that I can't. And whenever something unavoidable came up or I had to go on a work trip I used to feel so guilty for having to leave him behind with family members that I didn't completely trust to stick to his diet or medicate him properly. I had a sudden family emergency that required me to travel last minute and I swear it was like the stars aligned when I found Jeanelle. Bandit is very picky about strangers but he loved her immediately. I have had her sit for me several times since and she not only takes amazing care of him every time, but she has also been phenomenal about soothing my anxiety about having to leave him home. She keeps in touch multiple times a day to let me know he got his insulin or he made a friend on their walk or just to share a pic of something extra adorable he did. She has become my first call whenever I need to plan something and I've even planned around her schedule to be able to ensure that she will be available to care for Bandit when I can't be home to do it myself. I seriously don't know what I would do without her sometimes.”

About: I have my own mini dachshund who I care for full time! I love her more than anything! i’ve have had both a cat and dog my whole life as well as caring for others dogs and cats throughout the past few years.
