About: I have had dogs ever since I can remember. I did obedience training classes with my German shepherd. Great with big dogs. Would love to take care of yours while you’re away. Going to be going to school full time, so I decided to do this as I have a love for all animals. An making my own schedule is more efficient with my time. About: I love to help my rural neighbors feel comfortable if they have to be away from their home or farm for any amount of time. I stay close to home so I can provide in-home visits or walks multiple times a day if needed. I have experience with chickens, horses, goats, and hamsters as well! I have a few flexible jobs I do from home, and taking care of my neighbor's animals is one of them. I can easily adjust my schedule to fit my client's pet care needs. If you bring your pet to me, we have lots of safe, fun play time outside within our 4 acres of fenced yard and pasture. If I come to your house, of course, I'll follow your direction, but I love to be active with your animals if they want to be - whether going for a walk, playing fetch or tug of war, sprinkling cat nip, or playing with a feather...or horsey ear rubs!

“Journey is the only person I trust with my huskies. I’m a neurotic, helicopter dog mom with one husky that will be a half a mile away in 3 minutes if he sees an open gate (if you know, you know). Therefore, I’m borderline OCD with our triple lock gate ritual, and Journey navigates it easily, understands, and puts me at complete ease. It helped me a lot to know that Journey has a husky herself and indeed an experienced dog mom herself. My dogs also LOVE her. She’s clearly an animal lover. She definitely matches my level of detail oriented-ness when it comes to my dogs, not only with the gate but also their food and cleaning up after them. In some ways, she is more detailed than I am. 12/10 recommend for your dog sitting needs.”
