About: I’ve been around dogs mostly ever since I was little! I wanna help people out and care and walk them! I love connecting with dogs and will always give them the love they deserve! I’m currently working part time at a daycare and preschool, so I have some half days! Always free and available for a walk or pop in on the weekends! I am very respectful of other peoples space and homes! I leave it how it is or nicer! Same with my own home, always clean and tidy, even with pets.

“I think Gerrad should have been raised on a farm. Gerrad has a love for all animals. I have known him to bring dogs into his home that were lost or strays and works on finding the owners. He will feed them and show them love then hates to give them up when he finds the owners. He has had his own pets ( dogs and cats ) and the pets become his friends. If you want your pet to be loved, Gerrad will do that.”

“Julie is AMAZING! This was our very first time using the Rover app. and Julie was a perfect fit for our fur family while we were away. About: I’ve loved animals since I was 10 and I’ve loved taking care of pets over the small periods I’ve had them. They truly are amazing to having around and they make my normal very exciting! I’m usually free 3-4 hours a day that I can dedicate to taking care of pets! Most nights I just do homework and relax so having a pet to take care of wouldn’t be bad! I try my best to make sure the pet feels comfortable and loved! When I’ve taken care of my friends pets they always seem to love me because I try my best to make them feel happy!

“Caden C. is an amazing pet caregiver because of the genuine compassion and love he feels for pets. You can see this reflected in how much effort he puts into keeping his two dogs happy and healthy. Caden cares for a 4 year old long haired German shepherd and a smallish-medium senior dog who was a stray originally. He takes them on multiple walks a day, spends hours playing fetch and other games, and feeds them balanced diets (not just dry food but a real complete diet). He always takes them into account when making plans and ensures he has time every day to meet their needs. Caden can put himself in the shoes of a dog and fully understands the amount of enrichment, exercise, and nutrition they need to be their best selves. He also loves animals in general and is devoting his life to become a wildlife biologists so that he can help them. Caden treats every animal he meets with gentleness and patience. He is the only person I trust to care for my pets while I am out of town.”

About: Our dogs are our children. We've been dog parents for 23 years. All of our dogs have had medical issues (seizures, renal failure, heart disease, patella dysplasia, anxiety) so we know how to care for healthy, less than healthy and sensitive babies. Most of our dogs have had some sort of medication prescribed, so we're very versed in administering oral meds. My husband and I are semi-retired and work from the home, so your baby can be loved on as much or as little as it wants. Truthfully, I'll probably have to reign in my husband on the playing / cuddling time. He's never met a dog he hasn't loved and wanted to pet. Our dog, Beans, is a 14 lb Pomeranian who loves playing with other dogs. He loves running in our large, privacy fenced backyard, but he's just as happy lounging in his bed, our bed or on the couch. Your baby will be afforded that same luxury. If your dog sleeps in a crate, we don't have one, so you would need to bring yours. We don't require dogs be crated, though.

“I was very pleased with Mallori’s care! She was willing to drop in on our dog Dixie super last minute when I realized no one could stay with her while we would be gone for 2 days. She did an amazing job of caring for her and Dixie loved her. She was even willing to make sure our cat Luna had enough food while we were gone. I was very impressed and will definitely consider her first if we ever need someone to check in on Dixie again!”
