About: I had my childhood dog for almost 15 years. She was my soul dog, my absolute world. I am looking to fill my spare time with taking care of other dogs so that I can give them love and attention while their owners are busy or away. Taking care of dogs gives me a sense of purpose and I know that I would want someone to love and care for my dog if I needed the help. I work full-time Monday-Friday but I’m available after 5pm most days and Wednesdays I am available before 2pm. I am home all weekend most weekends so I have plenty of time to play with and take care of your fur babies. I get up early in the morning so I am able to be up and out for the early morning walks and I am a night owl by nature so I am also always ready for night time potty breaks or walks. I am a homebody by nature so I am always comfortable staying in and cuddling with a pup and watching a movie. I do also love nature though so you can often times find me down by the lake or on a trail for a nice long walk. I have a small senior dog living at home who loves other dogs so he can be playful at times but also knows how to give other dogs their space when wanted. I also live with a toddler who has been around dogs his whole life who loves to give them attention and play with them, but he has also learned to be very gentle with them. I do not have a back yard but I have a closed off balcony and a park in my complex with plenty of space for dogs to run around and go for walks. I live in a 2 storey condo so there is plenty of space to relax and move around.

About: I have had big dogs since I was 6 years old. Walking them, feeding them, raising them from puppies to adults. Right now I have a 4 year old black lab, who definitely keeps me on my toes!! Animals are what I strive to do look after and to do better. I’ve also worked with kids and definitely needing the attention, support, safety, is what I can definitely bring to this career. Scheduled meet and greet would be preferred so you and I can get to know each other, and myself and your pet can get to know each other! As of right now, I am currently working Monday to Friday but I am able to do anything between 9:30am-2pm and 6pm-7pm, in winter and until 8:30 during summer! Weekends 7am-7pm! Summers may change as I will have a full day of work rather than in-between shifts but TBA! Safety to me means fenced off yards, crated if needed, leash holding when or near cars, other animals or even people that may cause the pet to be scared. Making sure all doors are tightly sealed and locked and nothing harmful is in their reach. Their safety is my first priority!

About: Due to my experience in veterinary medicine I learned about many different small animals and took care of them when they boarded at the clinic. I also have my own pets and make sure I’m well educated in what each animal needs to stay healthy and happy.
