“Prior to finding Countryside, I had been leaving Gigi at an indoor daycare facility near my commute route. Unfortunately she acted like a caged animal with an entire day's worth of pent-up energy when I would pick her up after work. Plain City is in the opposite direction of my normal route but after seeing how calm and relaxed my pup is when I pick her up now, I cannot bring myself to take her anywhere else! About: I am NAPPS Certified, and dog and cat first aid and CPR certified. I take my four legged guests well-being very serious, and provide a home environment with love, exercise, playtime, and individualized attention. Your dog is part of my family and treated like my own! My house is a cage/crate free environment and dogs are welcome in every room. I have beds set up in all rooms but I often find my visitors on the couch. I do not crate dogs unless requested by the owner and the dog brings his crate with him. Some dogs feel more comfortable sleeping in their crate from home and it is part of their routine. I am experienced with administering medicine and caring for special needs and aging dogs. I have experience with dogs suffering from separation anxiety and go out of my way to make them feel comfortable, calm and secure. A typical day includes supervised playtime and a 3-5 mile walk. All dogs receive a bath as needed and I will continue any basic training and potty training while the dogs are staying with me. I will never leave your dog unsupervised in my backyard or let him/her off leash during our walks. Your dog’s safety, health and well-being are my top priority. I understand that leaving your dog to enjoy a vacation can be stressful; I provide daily updates with pictures or videos and do not mind phone calls to ease the pet parents mind. We love and welcome all dogs, from couch potatoes to rambunctious puppies, as long as they are not aggressive, and do not try eating our cat! I'm currently home full time and my schedule is flexible. I usually walk 3 times a day but can accommodate extra walks or potty breaks. I start by building trust with my new dog or cat and use positive reinforcement. I focus on fun and making my four-legged guest happy and enjoy their stay. I follow the instructions provided by the pet parents to maintain their regular routine and make their stay more comfortable and enjoyable.

“Esmeralda offered the perfect day care experience for our little morkie, Molly. We were visiting in the Blue Ridge area and had activities planned for two days that would not allow us to bring our pet along. Esmeralda's home was a peaceful retreat in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. Our little morkie gets overwhelmed and stressed at boarding facilities. But she was happy and playful when I picked her up each day. Esmeralda sent updates and photos both days and was genuinely happy to see Molly each morning. We will definitely use Esmeralda again when we travel to the Blue Ridge area. We highly recommend her!”

About: I have had dogs and cats as pets since I was a kid. I’ve also dog sat many times for neighbors over many days and nights. I am currently a college student looking for a fun and easy job! I do work, but I am part-time and I can easily drop in before and after work without charge. I am also a softball coach so weekends are tight depending on the schedule. I am very flexible so I can manage to work around anything. I have crate training so can also do that if needed. Feeding, walking, playing, bathroom breaks all known. There is a big pond at the end of my neighborhood with lots of room to run around! I’m so up to playing with your dogs!

About: Hi! I have had a passion for watching animals since I was a kid! I grew up with cats and dogs in the house and started taking petsitting more seriously a couple years ago. I volunteered at the humane society for several months and have been watching cats and dogs of my family, neighbors, and other clients. I am currently a sophomore full time student at UNG in Dahlonega and I take classes Mondays and Wednesdays from 9 AM till 5:15 PM. I am free on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and weekends to take care of your petsitting needs! I can work around my class schedule on Mondays and Wednesdays as well. I have a dog park fenced area in the complex I currently reside in. Whether you need me home with your pet or at your house I am sure I can meet your care taking needs!
