About: Since I was little I've cared for dogs, both big and small, and their puppy litters and I've also fostered stray puppies we've found and given them a safe home. Currently I have 2 lovely dogs (one Rhodesian ridgeback and 1 local breed) and 3 cats at home back in Tanzania with my parents. I'm a student taking a gap year before i enter university while also redoing some of my examinations, so I have ALOT of extra time on my schedule everyday. While I'm not studying Rover is an opportunity for me to mix my love for animals while keeping myself busy and exploring new areas of Utrecht that I have yet to see ( AND taking cute pets on walks because who wouldn't want that??!) i dont have any pets living with me at the moment since im in a new country but usually at home my pets are very free around the house as they're behaved fairly well and i take my dogs on regular walks and hang out with both my cats and dogs like i would with my own best friend.

About: Dogs are part of both my childhood and my adulthood. I miss my family dog and would love to give a helping hand. 
I grew up with malinois dogs and have experience with dogs of bigger sizes. But I also have experience with dachshund and smaller breads. I have followed puppy training classes and am used to handling stressed or agitated dogs. I believe the key is to stimulate them as much as they need, and make sure they are active, whether through long walks or playing games. 
 In case of emergency, you can expect me to contact you directly and take all necessary actions promptly, as the platforms facilitates. I have a car and can transport your pet safely in case of emergency.
 About me: I’ve recently finished my studies and have some time to take care of your babies. I live in a cosy apartment and have a dedicated spot for doggies in my living room. My building has an elevator so it's friendly to older dogs as well.
 I am an active person. I will play with your dog, go on long walks, change their water, feed them, take them with outside, cuddle when wanted. I have a designated space for dogs in my apartment, next to my tv which is in my living room. I include the dogs in my environment/routine, and go outside couple hours or so depending on age. Even better, I live next to a big park, perfect for walks and games.
 I don't have a breed preference or a size preference. I prefer kind dogs that are social with other dogs and used to spending time both inside and outside.

About: Hoi! Ik ben Sophie, 22 jaar oud en nu net woonachtig in Amsterdam voor werk. Zelf ben ik een grote hondenliefhebber, maar de rest van de familie heeft altijd een voorkeur voor katten gehad. Gelukkig genoeg vrienden en familie die wel honden hebben/hadden waar ik af en toe kon oppassen of helpen met het uitlaten. Zelf nog erg jong dus niet aan toe om nu een hond te nemen, maar dit leek mij de perfecte mogelijkheid om op honden te passen en met ze te wandelen rondom Amsterdam(oost)! Ik heb ervaring met oppassen op huisdieren, en ben ook flexibel! Voor mij maakt de grote van de hond niet uit, en ik kan me ook aan specifieke behoeftes makkelijk aanpassen. In februari en maart heb ik een tussen periode waar ik wacht tot mijn nieuw baan van start gaat, dus vooral nu erg flexibel en enthousiast om gelijk aan de slag te gaan! Ook veel ervaring met katten. Stuur gerust een berichtje:) Momenteel wachtende tot mijn baan in April van start gaat. Ik heb vooral veel actieve dagen waar ik ga hardlopen, wandelen of andere soorten sport uitprobeer! Nu dus erg veel tijd om lekker met een hond te gaan wandelen, of thuis op te passen. Ik heb een ruim appartement (85m2) met een balkon. Op de tweede verdieping zonder lift. Tussen Flevopark en Oosterpark in, dus veel groens. Flexibel ook om bij u thuis op te passen, eten te geven, of andere activiteiten/zaken.
