“I used Rover for the first time for doggy day care over the 4th of July weekend 2022 while on vacation. I chose Janel based on her excellent reviews and the fact that she was conveniently located in DeepCreek/ McHenry, MD. I also loved that the dogs had full access to her home and even allowed on the furniture. Janel and her family welcomed my 50 pound female labradoodle with open arms as one of their own. I received photo's of My girl on walks and relaxing at the house which reassured me that she was in good hands. I previously used different company in the area and when picking up my dog she was very stressed and anxious. I assumed she may have been crated for some length of time. Not a good situation for an active 2 year old. She was the total opposite when I picked her up from Janel's home. Her tail was wagging and she was in good spirits. I am very pleased and feel fortunate to have found Janel and her family. I have experience administering medications, watching puppies, caring for seniors, you name it! Most notably, I pay close attention to those special pets who may need specific care. I believe every pet deserves the best, and I will always strive to provide that with the utmost compassion and professionalism. My schedule is pretty flexible since I’m a student. I only have class on Monday-Wednesday leaving my schedule open almost entirely. I also have time those days too. I understand that some pets need fed on a certain schedule or let out more often than others. My open availability allows me to provide that. I understand the trust needed to allow a "complete stranger" into your home. I promise to make sure as though you and your pet don't feel as if I am a stranger. That being said, I prefer always meeting you and your pet before providing care. I will also treat your pet, and your home, as my own. Giving them and it the utmost care and respect.

About: I have had dogs all my life. I think of them as my family! I am currently going to school to be a vet assistant. When I’m not doing school work I am taking care of Down syndrome and special needs kids. I would love to start my education by taking care of dogs and learning all about them and their behaviors! I’m very flexible and will be able to accommodate you and your pooch. I can pet sit on short notice as well if needed. Whatever it takes :) As soon as I wake up I let my dogs out to pee and then I give everyone breakfast. Then we go on a walk and then when we get back I give treats to my dogs and then it’s time to play. I feed my dogs lunch and then dinner. My dogs sleep in either my bed or my parents bed. No one sleeps in a cage. Our days varies it just depends on what’s happening that day.

“Callie is a dear friend of mine for over 15 years now. She loves all animals and has her own fur babies, two dogs and two cats. She has veterinary technician schooling and really knows her stuff about animals. She is looking to work for herself and has decided to do what she does best and care for animals. She does really well with dogs and has always cared for all dogs as if they were her own. She would be an ideal candidate for any dog sitting or walking for your and your pets.”
