1. Connie M.

“We canceled with Connie because of change of plans but offered to pay for half the chargers, but she refused saying that she wouldn’t accept any money if she didn’t perform the services. We look forward to using Connie in the future. She was very easy to deal with and very kind. Sure, she would’ve taken really good care of Cody.”

3. Jack & Joanne A.

“Jack & Joanne were fantastic sitters for our dogs, Otto and Kya! They watched them for the day, and it was clear the pups had an absolutely wonderful time. Jack and Joanne are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and showed so much love towards Otto and Kya. Their property is truly amazing – the secure fence, huge field, and walking trail are a dog's paradise! We loved receiving picture updates throughout the day, which showed our dogs happy and having fun. We felt completely at ease leaving them in such capable and caring hands. We can't recommend Jack & Joanne highly enough and definitely can't wait to book them again!”

4. Karen & Donald I.
“Hello I’m writing this on behalf of Karen I. I’ve known Karen for about 40 plus years and when we met she had a poodle named Zabre .(think that’s the spelling) . Karen would bring him over my house to play with my dog Panda. We loved having our dogs with us all the time. We (as kids) took them on walks , and when we started driving they came with us. Karen treated all animals with love , kindness and always looking out for their best interest. Besides dogs, she had guinea pigs, and took care of her daughters cat even though she has allergies. She is 100000 percent reliable and considerate and very honest. Karen will treat any animal with the upmost care. Any animal will be lucky to be in her care . She now has a few dogs of her own and they are the luckiest dogs. She even fostered an older dog Jack, who was old n sickly and gave him the best life . I highly recommend Karen .”

12. Jaznie B.
About: Hey there! I'm Jaznie and I'm absolutely thrilled to offer the best care for your beloved family member right here in Scranton! I have years of experience as a dedicated pet owner, growing up my house was always full of bunnies, dogs, cats, turtles and even little parrots. I understand that your pets aren't just animals, they're members of the home. Whether your pup needs an energetic walk, a cozy lap to nap on, or your feline friend requires some extra playtime and cuddles, I'm here to provide personalized attention and a safe, loving environment. I'm passionate about making sure your pets feel comfortable, happy, and well-cared for while you're away, giving you complete peace of mind. Why choose me? I'm reliable, attentive, and genuinely adore animals. I'm also committed to clear communication and will keep you updated with photos and messages so you can see how much fun your pet is having! Let's connect and chat about how I can be the perfect pal for your pet. I'm thrilled to offer exclusive, one-on-one pet care during my college break. My schedule is wide open, meaning your pets will be the sole focus of my attention. No juggling multiple clients here! I want every pet to feel loved and cared for, not uncomfortable by the presence of other animals they haven't been properly introduced to. A typical day with me starts early between 7 and 8 AM with a refreshing walk around my neighborhood. We'll then settle into a rhythm that includes dedicated playtime, mental stimulation through trick practice (with owner-approved treats!), and plenty of cuddles. Midday will bring another chance for outdoor adventure, ensuring your pet is happy and active. As evening approaches, I'll gently guide them into their wind-down routine, aiming for a consistent bedtime. They can even sleep in my room for extra comfort and security, unless you prefer they have their own space. I'm constantly attuned to their needs – whether it's a longer walk, more water, or just extra snuggles. And I will send pictures throughout the day of the things your pet is doing so you know everything is going accordingly. How I Care for Pets in My Home (Boarding): When your furry family member stays with me, they become part of my temporary household! I only host one family's pets at a time, ensuring your beloved companion receives my undivided attention and a stress-free environment. This means no sharing space or attention with other clients' animals, just personalized love for your pet. A typical day begins between 7 and 8 AM with a neighborhood walk. We then settle into a comfortable routine that includes: Plenty of Playtime & Cuddles: Engaging play sessions tailored to their energy level or cozy snuggles on the couch. Mental Stimulation: We can practice tricks and provide treats (approved by you, of course!) to keep their minds sharp and engaged. Consistent Potty Breaks: Another walk is always on the agenda later in the day to ensure they're comfortable. Attentive Care: I'm always checking on water levels and food, ensuring they get the perfect amount of outdoor time, and watching for any signs of discomfort. Nighttime Routine: As the day winds down, I help them settle into their evening routine, aiming for a consistent bedtime. For their comfort and security, your pet is welcome to sleep in my room (unless you prefer they have their own designated, comfortable space). Daily Updates: You'll receive regular photo and text updates, so you can see how much fun your pet is having and have complete peace of mind. To ensure your pet feels perfectly at home and comfortable during their stay, please pack everything they'll need for their visit. This helps maintain their routine and makes them feel more secure! Here's a quick list to get you started: Their Bed: Please ensure it's thoroughly clean before drop-off, or I can clean it for an additional fee. Food: Enough for their entire stay, plus a little extra just in case! Food & Water Bowls Favorite Toys Collar & Leash Crate (if applicable): If they are crate-trained or use one for sleeping. Any Medications with clear instructions. Anything else you feel is necessary to make their stay feel like home! I'm truly excited to welcome your furry friend and provide them with a fantastic, loving experience here in my home.

18. Briana K.
About: I've taken care and rescued all sorts of animals from guinea pigs to giant pitties. I have been in rescue for about 9 years. It comes out of pocket, but if I don't save them or help who will? I am also good at medication injection and oral administration of medication as well. I can do walks, check in's, doggy day care, house sit, etc. I will accommodate your needs for your furbaby. I am not afraid of bigger dogs as most people might be. I think of them as giant teddy bears. I will send plenty of updates and pictures as I know leaving your furbaby with a stranger can be absolutely nerve wrecking. Whatever makes my customer happy I will be more than willing to meet their request. Just give me instruction, your furbabies name, any allergies, medications, walk/yard time and frequency, feeding schedule, and any other information you see fit and I guarantee your precious furbaby will find a new friend! I am currently employed part time and in school part time this semster over at Johnson College for Veterinary Nursing. My schedule is pretty packed, but I will make accommodations with you to accommodate the needs of your furbabies or ones with scales. I moved in March of last year so boarding at the new place might be a bit busy. I do have enough room to accommodate at least 3 dogs. I don't have a fenced in yard at my apartment however I love to take them on long walks. I have walked dogs of all sizes. Super tiny to 100+lbs. I also have my own pupper Krypto so if boarding at my home please make sure your dog is other dog friendly as well as cats. I have 2 cats, 1 dog, 1 rat and a goldfish. If you are looking to board in my home I suggest a meet & greet to make sure your furbabies and mine are safe for their stay. I care for my clients furbabies like they are my own. I make sure the furbabies are happy and healthy. I will make sure my clients needs and wants are met. If you need me to watch them at your house, your house will be treated like my home. “Phyllida has watched my dogs for several years now. She has a real love for animals. She is good with enthusiastic puppies, settled middle-age dogs, and fragile elderly dogs with significant health problems. She is caring and reliable, trustworthy about giving medicines, and often I have returned home to find my animals not just safe and well, but nicely brushed. I recommend her.”

20. Natalie I.
“Natalie has grown up in a house with dogs all her life. She has been a trusted, reliable, and loving pet sitter for numerous neighbors and friends for a number of years. She is what I call “dog people”. The dogs (and cats) love her. As we know, dogs are the best judges of character and they (and their pet parents) are beyond happy when Natalie is tasked with caring for them. She would be an excellent addition to Rover. The dogs & cats will be fortunate to be in her care.”
