7. Divya T.
About: Hi there! My name is Divya, and I’ve been working with animals for most of my life. I’ve been training and riding horses competitively for over a decade, cared for Chinchillas, tropical fish, high needs bengal cats, and raised and trained my late Doberman, Olive, from puppyhood. I currently have a GSD mix working dog who I rescued from the streets. I absolutely love dogs of all shapes, breeds, and sizes and would love to care for your baby with the same love and attention as you do! Your animals will be treated as my own, and deeply loved as part of the family. I am a recent Biological Anthropology graduate from UCLA. I am a very attentive, compassionate, and diligent person! I am regularly reading the latest research in dog behavior, health, training, and evolution, and am always working to expand my knowledge, and ensure my information is up to date with the current scientific research; feel free to ask me for any resources you may be searching for. REACTIVITY: ALL DOGS WELCOME! I have experience with anxious, reactive, fearful, and aggressive dogs, and am well versed in the theory and practice of systematic desensitization and classical counter conditioning. I practice a positive reinforcement training methodology only, under the LIMA (least intrusive, minimally aversive) approach, and can help you and your pup work toward neutrality to stimulus, and maintain any practices you currently have for reactivity management. Do not hesitate to reach out and open a conversation if your pup has any kind of reactivity or behavioral issues, I’m here to work with you. I know from personal experience how stressful and difficult it can be to leave your reactive pup in the hands of someone else, and I’m here to learn all that you have to tell me and support your dog exactly as you would. My dog does not participate in bookings and will not see or play with your dog(s), and any dog who does not tolerate people or dogs is welcome. I work hard to create a stimulating fun environment that is safe and trigger free. Bookings for dogs with separation anxiety, reactivity, or other behavioral special needs will be given a special care rate. Don’t hesitate to message me with any questions about this! WORKING AND HIGH ENERGY BREEDS I am uniquely suited to the needs of high energy and working breed dogs. My own dogs have been and are working dogs, and I understand from personal experience the difficulties of finding someone who can meet your dogs high needs, both physically and mentally. I am excited to continue with whatever job your dog has; whether it’s competition obedience, agility, swimming, barn hunt training, scent and nose work, so they don’t miss a beat in their routine and training while you’re away. I understand the balance of loving your working dog as family first, and still keeping their life structured and predictable to meet their high physical and mental needs. I’m here to pick up right where you leave off and match the way that you care for and engage with your dog. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if your dog has especially high exercise or training needs; I’m extremely diligent and loving, and excited to spend time with your working dogs! I would love to see if I’m the right fit for you and your pup, so don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or potential interest! I will tailor my care and approach for your pup collaboratively with you, as each dog is individual, and requires a unique approach. I’m here to see how I can best suit your baby’s needs and leave them happy and fulfilled at the end of our time together! SCHEDULE I currently have an extremely flexible schedule. I am an equestrian and am at the barn many days of the week but my schedule and times are fully flexible. I also work remotely on a fully flexible schedule and can easily arrange my schedule to suit your needs. Just let me know your situation and I’m sure I’ll be able to accommodate, or work something out! DROP IN VISITS I’m available for drop in visits at your home! Whether it’s potty breaks, feeding, play, cuddles, or all of the above, I’d love to drop in to care for your fur baby while you’re away. Let me know what their routines and needs are, so I can integrate myself into their day as seamlessly as possible. DOG WALKING I’m available for dog walking/exercise sessions with your pup! Whether you have a working breed who requires intense and diligent exercise, or a beloved senior dog who would prefer a casual stroll around the neighborhood, I’m excited and able to meet your dogs unique needs! I also have long lines to allow your pup to explore new areas safely, and at their own pace! For safety as a policy I do not allow dogs to be off leash in unfenced areas, with no exceptions. MEET AND GREET I understand leaving your fur baby with a new person is nerve wracking, and I deeply understand the importance in assessing and developing the connection between you and your pup and a potential new caretaker. I would love to set up a meet and greet prior to scheduling a service. For all dogs but especially reactive, anxious, or aggressive dogs, I require a meet and greet prior to booking to ensure we are properly set up as a team for me to give them the care they need and deserve in your absence. My current policy is to set up preliminary meet and greets by booking a single 30 minute drop in visit. This will allow me to ask and answer all questions, and to take my time to get to know your pup, especially if they are fearful or reactive. I feel that patience and real trust is key to long term success and connection. Feel free to message me with any questions or confusion on this! I currently only accept neutered and spayed dogs, unless they are puppies (however I do not accept females who are actively in heat). In the event of any emergency, I like to have a plan ahead of time and know your preferred vet, but also have several emergency vets on call and will take immediate action to ensure they get timely and thorough care to keep them safe, while contacting you immediately. FINAL THOUGHTS You can rest assured that in my care, your pups will get my undivided attention, tons of affection and cuddles, and a stimulating and fun day customized to their personality and preferences. I am extremely communicative and responsible, and will always provide updates, videos, and photos to you throughout our time together, so you can watch your baby explore and have fun, as if you were right there with us. I’d love to meet you and your pup, so please reach out!

“Leticia is an outstanding dog trainer/walker! I had issues with my dog constantly pulling on the leash during walks. After just a few sessions with her, he became much more polite and now walks calmly by my side. I’ve seen how she trains dogs using her positive reinforcement approach, and it’s truly impressive how quickly she earns their respect and trust. I cannot recommend Leticia’s services highly enough. We have two dogs who have lots of energy and they are always very happy to see him - they know they will have good walks and playtime when he is here. Regardless if you need someone to care for your dog for a few hours or the whole day Jen is the right person to call.”

17. Alexis I.
“I've known Alexis since she started walking dogs 10+ years ago. She's incredible! She has loved our dogs as if they were her own. She's incredibly attentive to them and has an intuitive sense of their needs. Most recently, Alexis was a lifesaver during a stressful period when I was starting a new job and moving into a new apartment at the same time. Alexis made herself fully available to dog walk as often as needed during our week of unpacking. Both our dogs are big, senior pitties with special needs, and Alexis has been able to care for them perfectly. Could not recommend more highly!”
