I grew up surrounded by animals and even helped run a small petting zoo with goats, chickens, rabbits, and a tortoise when I was younger. About: I'm a veterinarian out due to an injury. Missing the interactions with fur babies! I'm slowly getting back to work but until I'm full time again I'd like to help people out by caring for their beloved pets! I will treat them as my own and communicate with the owners as often as they want! No animal is off limits! They will be in great hands. I'm home most of the time aside from occasional doctors appointments and occasionally work shifts (currently very part time) I have 3 cats and 1 dog myself. Other than working with animals as a veterinarian, my own pets are a full time job. They bring me such joy and entertainment. Even as an adult, if I pass someone with a pet I will always stop to ask to pet it. I'm extremely detail oriented. I'm always observing behavior and their regular routine. If something seems off I will address it and communicate it immediately. My love for animals is my life's work.

This includes taking her during the day or evenings for play sessions with Michaela's dog, when they both need to get some energy out, and watching her overnight when we are traveling. Our dog loves her time over at Michaela's and is so well cared for, probably better care than she gets with us. Beyond the love Michaela shares with her, she is also very careful about important details like when toys are too small for our bigger dog, checking the temperature in the summer and encouraging indoor breaks, and monitoring food and water intake. About: I have had pets in my home for as long as I can remember. These loving, sweet members of our families deserve only the best care. I have been pet sitting and walking for a few years off and on. I also volunteer at Young Williams Animal Shelter so I interact with all kinds of different sweet animals often. I have 1 cat and 1 dog right now, both are my babies that I love dearly. I also am working through the process of getting my dog training certification so I can further my training and education on these sweet animals! About: I have experience with all different types of pets and have paid experience the past six years. I will make sure your pet stays on their routine and feels happy and loved while you’re away. During sits my wife tends to join me. She’s also very experienced with animals and has farm and exotic animal experience. If this is something you are not comfortable with, I am happy to adjust this. I am taking some time to start my own business with my wife. So there’s plenty of time and attention to go around. Most of my work can be scheduled around Rover. If I am housesitting however I may have to leave for a few hours at a time but usually no longer than 3 or 4 so that your pet gets the maximum amount of attention possible. Safety is always a top priority and your pups will always be kept on the same type of schedule they have when they are with you to ensure they aren’t thrown off their routine when you return.
