About: I’ve loved animals my entire life. I’m a disabled nurse and providing care and love to animals fills the void left in my life after taking care of patients for 16 years as an RN. I’m disabled and have been for 8 years now. I can’t think of anything more fulfilling than being able to give care and love to other peoples pets!! I go to church on Sundays and Wednesday evenings. Other than Dr.’s appointments my schedule is open. I will protect and care for your pet as if they were mine. I treat my dog like family because she is. About: I used to work as a nurse but I’m currently a stay at home momma! I've always had a passion in helping others, but my second passion in life is caring for animals! What better side gig than to help care for some lovely pets. I do have experience through my nephew with service dogs. I attended his two-week training to learn how to handle the dog and commands. I've always had pets, particularly cats and dogs, with a few fishy exceptions. I've been trusted by many friends and family members as the go-to person for pet sitting. My main mantra is “Help you have a stress free trip.” I fully understand that leaving your pet (baby) is stressful. I will send you daily photos and updates. I obtained my Masters in Social Work in 2020 and am a licensed social worker. I’m currently practicing PRN medical social work. I am able to create my own schedule and primarily be home with the pets. I am a HUGE homebody and am here with them majority of the time unless I am doing a home visit that day (typically takes 2 hours) or running an errand. The only thing I request be brought is your pets favorite food and whatever medication they are currently taking. It can also be helpful to bring whatever bed is comfortable for your pet to sleep on. If your pet is a bed sleeper, that is OK as well! My main focus is to make you and your pet as comfortable as possible. Many folks provide me with some type of written or typed instruction. This helps me provide you with the best care possible so that whenever they come home, your pet has continued their consistent schedule. This is optional but totally cool to provide! My two babies: Benni and Bowie. They will bark at first and then in an hour they will be cuddles with your pet on the couch. It’s the weiner dog in them. 😂. They love all animals and seriously go into a small depression when your pets leave! They are highly socialized and non aggressive. Please message me with any questions you may have.
