3. Teyani B.
About: I have always had animals of my own that I cared for growing up including cats and dogs, horses, goats, birds, and bunnies! Around the age of 14 I started pet sitting ALL animals (including those stated earlier + reptiles, bugs, livestock, etc…) for friends and family, with eventually led to building a client base outside of that for the following 4 years :) Ive lived in Asheville for 2 years now- Ready to care for any critter! I’m jobless due to the displacement of hurricane, I am willing to really work whenever as long as it doesn’t interfere with my therapy appointments! I have a ‘pet go bag’ of extra leashes and collars, poop bags, aid, and toys for any and all critters just incase of emergencies!
4. Kristine H.
“I highly recommend Kristine for your pet sitting needs. Kristine has been pet sitting for me for years. She takes care of my pets (2 dogs & 2 cats) while I am away on vacation or business trips. She is very reliable and makes sure my pets are well cared for and gives them lots of love. She also walks them and trims their nails upon request.”
5. Rachel O.
About: I've spent much of my life around cats, dogs, and farm animals, and would love an opportunity to provide your pet with tailored care and attention. Though I have only cats at home, I love to pet-sit so I can hang out with dogs! Active dogs will get lots of play and outside time according to your preferences, but if your furry friend is happier lounging on a couch, I'll be glad to keep them company. In addition to cats and dogs, I've also been the "critter sitter" for various farm animals-- horses, mules, goats, rabbits, and chickens. I currently work part time, so my schedule is very flexible. Whenever possible, I will match your daily routines so your pet feels more comfortable. My general approach to house-sitting/visits is "leave no trace." Any issues that occur in your space will be communicated promptly. I also have a fenced yard where pups can roam and play safely, though I prefer leash walks (or short hikes, if you're comfortable!)
6. ralyn d.
“Ray is such a sweet and kind hearted person! I spent the summer working with her at a summer camp raising mini golden doodles and teaching kids of all ages how to care for them and train them. She loves animals and gives them nothing short of the best of care!”
7. Jennye J.
“I have personally worked with Jennye when we were both vet techs. She is amazing and will go the extra mile with any animal. I own a farm and would trust her to come take care of all of my animals if I was out of town. She is a cat whisperer and great with dogs. I 100% would recommend Jennye with your pet!”
8. Teresa D.
“She is great with our little puppy, helps us to get his energy out while we are at work. She is the perfect pet sitter and will show love as if he is her own.”
9. Cheyenne L.
“Cheyenne is amazing with all animals. She had a huge heart and is very patient. She helped me find medication to help with my dogs itchy skin and he is much happier. I would trust her in my home to take care of my animals and could 100% guarantee your animals will be very well loved and taken care of while with her.”
10. Hannah M.
“There's absolutely no one I trust more with my pupper than Hannah! I dropped my baby (see: precious angel, nugget, best girl ever) off with her for a 2 week board and train, and LET ME TELL YA Hannah worked some magic, not only with my dog, but in teaching me as an owner. Before even dropping my girl off Hannah was answering questions and helping ease my anxiety. She pre-emptively asked questions about my girl to help make sure her time away would bring comfort in addition to structure. Even though my dog was a bit behind in the obedience department, Hannah never once complained or made me (or the pup!) feel bad- she just took it in stride and met my pup where she was at. Alongside the daily pictures of my girl having THE BEST time at 'summer camp', I got to see videos of how she was progressing in her training, and got to watch my girl come out of her shell and thrive while working with a trainer who only wanted the absolute best for her. When it was time to come home Hannah ensured a smooth transition, and my girl is thriving and confident even months after her stay. I could write all day about my confidence in Hannah, and she will forever be my first call if I need someone to take care of my best friend.”

12. Johnnie & Paul E.
About: We have owned dogs our entire life with many cats in between. We have had the pleasure of sitting dogs and cats all over the country, including house sits in California, Oregon, Washington, and now North Carolina. We have experience with young puppies, as well as elderly dogs with a plethora of health problems. We have experience with big dogs like German shepherds, Australian shepherds, and Rottweilers, to teacup Pomeranians, spitz, and many more. We are very high energy and fun, and the animals we’ve looked after always seem to pick up on that great energy and can’t wait to hang out. :) I sell vintage clothing and my boyfriend and I are both youth soccer coaches, so being self employed and only working part time coaching allows us to better accommodate to all the needs of the animals. In our own home, our dog Endo is the King. He gets to enjoy long daily walks amidst the beauty of DuPont forest, swims in the lake behind our house, and nightly fresh cooked meals. Our services on house sits include obviously feeding and general care of the animals, as well as promptly following specific dietary regimens and health requirements of every animal. We have cared for very old dogs that needed assistance in bowel movements as well as simple motivation for stubborn dogs that don’t like to walk. We have also looked after countless plants and hot tubs, ensuring proper watering and chlorination.
13. Erin K.
“I have two miniature dachshunds and 1 requires special attention & care due to a genetic back condition. I, myself, require the ultimate assurance that my pets will be safe in another's care! Erin’s adoration for pets & her innate ability to nurture make her my number 1 choice for my pet sitting needs. Erin is 1 of 3 people on this planet that I know I can trust to love and care for my pets the same way I do. Ensuring that my time away from home is a seamless a transition for us all!”
14. Gabriel R.
“Gabriel is a very compassionate person and a great pet sitter. He is gentle enough to bond with a cat around the house but can also take an energetic dog on a long hike to get their zoomies out. He worked with a vet rehabilitating street dogs in Guatemala so he knows how to administer medications and care for/train dogs that might be nervous or aggressive. He has experience caring for farm animals as well like horses, chickens, goats, ect. Highly recommended sitter!”

15. Thyra F.
“Thyra has watched my two dogs numerous times. She is great. She has no problem hanging out with them and gives them a great amount of attention. I previously had a great dog who required oral medication for on going medical isssues and he never missed a dose with her. She would comfort him on his bad days and send pictures/ updates on his condition. It was great to know that even when I was not home that Thyra would take care of my furry children like they were her own. She is very optimistic and will be a great choice for your animals. She has so much experience.”
16. Morgan S.
“Morgan was great! She housesat and dog sat for me overnight on a weekend. Dogs were happy and well taken care of. She was willing to do small chores like dishes and laundry. Will definitely book her again”
17. Heather B.Star Sitter
“Heather was wonderful with our little 8lb dog Zeus. We hired her to house/dog sit for a 4 day 3 night trip. Our fur baby had never had anyone come in and pet sit so we were a little worried at first but after the first day of cuddling and outside pics I felt at ease. Heather was great we received multi pics a day and even a call daily to touch base. She was really in tune with Zeus and picked up on small things that really meant a lot to us. She called to ask about his sneezing attack, a small limp from a previous injury, mucus in his bowel movement and drainage one morning in his eye. Our house was the same as we left it and she even washed the bed clothes without us asking. I would hire her again in a heartbeat. She was wonderful!!”
18. Michelle N.
“Michelle has incredibly calming and kind demeanor. I trusted her with the care of my anxious senior hound mix and he immediately became comfortable around her and her family. Cannot recommend enough.”
19. Kara P.
About: I have pet sat for many families in the past. I have about 3 regulars. I started pet sitting in my neighborhood about 2 and a half years ago and also got on another app and have had about 2 sittings from there. I have pet sat mostly dogs but also cats. I have done overnights, visits throughout the day, boarding in my home, walking, etc. I am also about to start including dog training! I also would love to add in hiking! I would even be up for doing day care in my home! I have also cared for senior dogs and have experience with giving medications. I have a German Shepherd so I love to get out and be active! I am currently working part time but am planning to go fully to pet sitting so I can help more pet owners out! I am not in school so I will be available the whole day to spend time with your pups. Your pup will be able to go outside when needed and get love 24/7. We have a fully fenced yard so lots of room for your pup to run! We also go on daily walks and sometimes enjoy going out hiking or to the park. I am very keen on crate training so your pup will need to be crated while unsupervised in my home. This is for mine and my dogs safety but also for your dogs safety! We keep our home very clean and dog/ puppy proof so no need to worry about your pup getting into anything! We also keep chew bones up and any high value items up. They get these high value items when they are individually in their crates or their own space! We have three dogs for your pup to play and socialize with always under supervision of me or the other person in my home.
