About: An animal lover since birth, I have spent my life dedicated to animal welfare. I have volunteered at animal shelters, participated in fostering dogs as part of a rescue group, and follow a plant-based and cruelty-free lifestyle. I have puppy sat breeds ranging from shih tzu, chihuahua, beagle, American eskimo, Labrador, pit bull, boxer, Australian cattle dog, Great Dane... and the list goes on! “Kelli had two rescue dogs. Shelby was abused and Kelli loved this dog for probably ten years. The other was a dog with cancer and a 3-6 month life expectancy. Kelli cared for Bug, including making homemade food, for about three years. Kelli also cared for Pablo for about seven years. Pablo belonged to Kelli's ex. I know Kelli stayed with the ex for an additional year or two because she did not want to split the three dogs apart. I am very proud of how well Kelli cared for her pets. My main mantra is “Help you have a stress free trip.” I fully understand that leaving your pet (baby) is stressful. I will send you daily photos and updates. I obtained my Masters in Social Work in 2020 and am a licensed social worker. I’m currently practicing PRN medical social work. I am able to create my own schedule and primarily be home with the pets. I am a HUGE homebody and am here with them majority of the time unless I am doing a home visit that day (typically takes 2 hours) or running an errand. The only thing I request be brought is your pets favorite food and whatever medication they are currently taking. It can also be helpful to bring whatever bed is comfortable for your pet to sleep on. If your pet is a bed sleeper, that is OK as well! My main focus is to make you and your pet as comfortable as possible. Many folks provide me with some type of written or typed instruction. This helps me provide you with the best care possible so that whenever they come home, your pet has continued their consistent schedule. This is optional but totally cool to provide! My two babies: Benni and Bowie. They will bark at first and then in an hour they will be cuddles with your pet on the couch. It’s the weiner dog in them. 😂. They love all animals and seriously go into a small depression when your pets leave! They are highly socialized and non aggressive. Please message me with any questions you may have.
