“Sumi took excellent care of my senior dog (Flora) as if she were her own fur baby for the two weeks that I was on vacation. Miss Flora lost her hearing two weeks before the scheduled trip and was extremely stressed out. Sumi bonded quickly with Flora, taking her on regular walks in both the morning and evening. Due to her age and hearing loss, Flora is considered a special needs dog. But neither slow her down. I provided an outline of a typical day in the life of Flora which covered her feeding schedule, walks and medication. Sumi made sure all of her needs were met - appetite, exercise and attention. I received updates, pictures and even videos. I could tell that Flora had settled in easily with Sumi. For me, it was as if I left Flora with a member of my own family. It was very hot and there was no air conditioning so she made sure they were comfortable by placing fans for circulation and giving them Ice cubes to play with and lots of water to drink. My one older cat required medication twice a day so she came Am and PM to feed them and then give the rx. I am very happy with the job she did and so were the kitties!”

About: Our home is right off of the exit for convenient drop offs and pick ups.I am just one of those pet people. Animals and animal behavior are a huge special interest of mine. Our house is cozy, filled with love, and your pup will feel at ease. My partner and I work from home full time so your dog will have human interaction all day. I am comfortable with whatever you do in your home environment. I know that all animals are different and come with a different set of needs. I am comfortable with what you need from me and communication is key between owner and care taker. Basic dog training is available during the stay. I also do in home training sessions. IG: Whiskersandpawspnw I am solely focused on my pet care business however, at the time I am not able to go on long walks and the dogs will get playtime with me in the house, in the yard, or on short walks. If your dog has good recall we can go to the park for fetch. Please ensure you are sending vaccinated and flea treated pups. The pets are welcome to snuggle, I use redirection and basic training commands. I use mostly positive reinforcement training unless a behavior presents a danger to the animal, other animals, or myself. Crates are more than welcome to help with anxiety. If I have a larger pack I will separate according the behaviors and allow those dogs to play and walk together. If you are looking for housesitting I will more than likely have my partner and dog come with me. Lucy is very socialized and happy to stay with me. If Lucy cannot come I will have to charge an extra convenience fee so I can go back and forth between my house and yours.
