8. Alexa E.
“Alexa has always had a soft side for animals, didn’t matter the species: snakes, bearded dragons, dogs, cats - you name it, she loved it. As her former roommate, I’ve seen her interact with many of these animals, a lot being her pets. First, I must say she is a very patient and understanding pet owner. She develops a really deep bond with every animal she comes across. She has great intuition when it comes to understanding their needs and shows so much love to all animals big and small. When she was dogsitting for a friend, she took care of the dog as if it was her own and even helped to train him. I don’t think I can come up with a better more qualified person to trust with your pet.”

I would absolutely trust her to care for any of the animals at the Rescue in my absence.”

“If I could give her 100 stars, I would! She was exceptionally responsive, and genuinely caring - everything you want in someone you're trusting in your home, and to care for your pets. 15. Emma & Steven W.
About: I have years of experience when it comes to taking care of animals, cats, reptiles. Taking care of animals has always been a happy place for me. Whether it’s drop ins, over night help, or just a simple dog walk I’m able to help. I have experience with giving animals medicine if needed and just being there if they need company. I’m currently transitioning from working a full time job to unemployment so whenever your pet care is needed I can be there! All day every day! We have a fenced back yard with plenty of space to walk around. When at our home they can have daily walks, treats, and the freedom to enjoy their home as if it was their own.

17. Mya M.
About: I treat other people’s animals like my own. One thing that I like to do is actually hang out with the owners pets so that they feel seen. It also helps me get to know their tendencies. All animals are different, so this is something I take seriously. Pets understand a lot more than most people would think. They take the time to listen to us, so I make it a point to try and understand how they communicate :) My current schedule is open because I just moved back to Northern California, so scheduling won’t be an issue as I have a lot of free time at the moment :) If you choose me to care for your animal(s), you should know that I will treat them as if they were your biological child. I would want my babies to be treated the same way. Im always eager to share updates on how they are doing under my care, so if you are the type to regularly check in, please don’t feel like a bother. Their wellbeing is a priority and I want to make sure I’m doing everything I can in order to make them as comfortable as possible :)

18. Coral B.
About: I have been around animals my whole life from horses to birds. I have had experience with old and you cats and dogs as well as giving them medication not excluding animals that are difficult to medicate. I currently live with 5 animals that I help care for, two elderly dogs, one elderly cat and two young cats! I am a junior in college and am back at home for the summer. I volunteer durning school and pick up animal care and other small jobs on break. I see myself as a part time worker free all days of the week for animals care. I think that everyone knows what is best for their animals and what they need to be properly cared for and would never over step that. At home I walk and do brain puzzles with our dogs, and with our cats. We have two indoor/ outdoor cats, that are kept in at night and have trackers on their collars.
