“To be totally upfront, Bob is my brother and not a friend. So I am far from unbiased in this. On the other hand, having grown up with him I'm more than familiar with his history with pets. Growing up we had dogs and cats and birds and hamsters, etc in the household. He is very comfortable around household pets and deals with them in a very patient, reliable and kind manner. He's even good with finicky cats, as he and his spouse of many years have two in their home. You probably know from his application that he has a graduate degree from Columbia and has recently retired after many years of employment. About: I’ve had pets my whole life through all 24 years. I started helping care for them around the age of 10, including two high energy Australian Shepherds, two cats, a rabbit, and exotic fish. I’m very active, love going on walks, and have been a long distance runner for years. I completed the New York City Half Marathon in spring 2024. I’m happy to do multiple walks a day or long mile walks. I’ve always been an animal lover raised in a home where pets are family. I want your pets to feel just as loved and happy as mine. I work part time and take online classes, so I have a flexible schedule. I’m available for drop ins to give your pets some attention and for dog walking. I’m free Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday any time, Wednesday before 2 PM, and Friday before 11 AM. I am not available Saturday, and Sunday availability varies. When caring for pets in your home, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I follow your instructions closely, including feeding, walking, playtime, and any special needs. I can bring treats if your pet is treat obedient and will always ask about allergies, medications, or anything else important to their care.

About: I've grown up with cats and dogs my whole life and love caring for them. I currently have a 50lb dog named Zelda! I have also cared for 2 puppies since they were 10 weeks old for over a year, letting them out and playing with them I feed my dogs every morning and also take care of my grandmas very old dog when he goes to the bathroom in the house I've been walking my dog since I was 3 so I know how to keep a dog under control on the leash. Fenced in yards would be preferred but not necessary
