About: I’m Kara, I’m a 22 year old nurse looking for some extra work. I’m not a professional sitter but I have always grown up around all animals. I am also comfortable caring for all sorts of animals. I have my own little pup who is 10 months. I work full time as a nurse, but do shift patterns so I can work around my shift. “Buddy’s first time with Eve and he loved it. Eve is a genuinely lovely person and you can tell she loves dogs. I did a meet n greet before and knew my Buddy would be in good hands. He was taken on several walks as well as well as lying on top of the sofa for his naps. Eve sent me pictures and videos throughout the day and kept me updated on how he was doing. Will definitely be booking Eve in the future. As any dog owner knows it’s a worry leaving your dog especially when they’re a wee bit older but I could tell buddy had a great day with Eve and her gorgeous dogs.”

I was a little nervous as our dog Carlos had never done a home stay before, he can also be nervous and reactive but Joseph was so good and gentle with him he seemed to relax straight away. We got daily updates and it seems like Carlos got on great with Joseph’s dog too. Carlos has usually come back from kennels exhausted and a bit cheeky but he came home after a week super relaxed and if anything better behaved, so thank you Joseph and we’ll be sure to contact you again if Carlos needs somewhere to stay again :)”

About: I’ve helped looked after my family dog for 15 years. Since I moved out of my family home, I’ve been missing her company and my walking companion! I looked after her from when she was a puppy through to her senior years. I’m therefore comfortable with energetic/younger dogs as well as going at a slower pace for older dogs. I work full time Monday-Friday, however I work at least 3 days from home so I’m around for regular walks. I am usually free on evenings and weekends. I do not have any other pets so your dog would be the only pet in the home. I live in a ground floor flat with secure entry and I have access to a shared garden area.

I adore looking after my friend’s dogs and would love the opportunity to look after your fur babies! I am retired and so will be able to focus 100% on your dogs in order to give them the best care. I am regularly available 7 days a week. I have an unfenced garden for plenty of toilet breaks and Strathaven has beautiful parks and country walks to give your dogs the best exercise. I am happy to discuss any needs your dogs might have including medication, separation anxiety, etc, all dogs will be treated as individuals. Happy to replicate your dog’s routine to make them feel relaxed and comfortable with minimal disruption.

“Yun who is known as Coco to us, is an amazing dog carer! Back in China, whenever we were away on holiday and she was available, we would always take our dog Candy to her! She is very caring, and always takes on our notes for her seriously- our dog Candy requires fish oil with her meal at a certain time everyday, and Coco is amazing at doing this! We receive pictures from Coco of our Candy when we’re out so that we know she is okay, and many times, she looks like she is having more fun than she does with us haha! I would 100% recommend her to anyone with a small/ medium dog(s), she is amazing!”
