“I cannot recommend Jess highly enough. Hugo was 8 months old when he stayed with Jess (mon - Friday) so he is full of energy and loves getting into mischief. He’s blissfully snoring away next to me as I write this after holiday. It was our first time leaving him for more than one night and I think he was a bit disappointed to come home. I got lots of updates, whether that was pictures of him on muddy walks or just funny stories and Jess enjoying learning Hugo’s quirks. I also got really quick responses when I just felt the need to know he was okay. We met first at a local park so Hugo could meet resident dog Bruce and we could discuss routines / Hugo’s needs. We got a checklist of what we needed to leave when we dropped him off. He was super excited to empty the toy box when we dropped him off. About: We are both big animal lovers. I grew up with a family dog who I was responsible for walking and loved to play with. I would often cat sit for neighbours. I also worked on an animal sanctuary in Thailand where I cared for a wide range of animals- including elephants! Luke grew up in a household with multiple dogs (up to 7 at times), guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, fish. He often had foster dogs staying and was responsible for walking, feeding, caring and sometimes rehabilitating them. He also helped to raise several litters. Luke works from home and is therefore able to dedicate plenty of time in the day to walking and playing with dogs! I am then available weekday mornings and evenings for additional walks and attention! We can both share the responsibility over the weekend when I am also home. We live in a two bedroom flat and therefore have no private outdoor space however we live on the canal basin which allows for some lovely walks.

About: I grow up with my now old dog, she’s 18 years old and was abandoned. I took her him with 3 months old. She’s my best friend. I normally take care as well if my boss’s dog that’s is a Shih tzu. I also had different types of animals like a rabbit and birds. I’m currently working on full time, my days off are not always the same but I always know with a month in advance my days off. I leave with my partner, Evan, and we have different times of work, not leaving the dog for too long by itself at home. I leave in a good sized house with a medium garden and all fenced and safe. I leave with my partner. At the moment there’s no kids in my house but I am pregnant.

About: I have 15years of experience owning both small and medium breeds (Yorkshire terrier, Shih tzu, Bulldog, Boxer, Husky and Staffy) and I love having dogs around. We walk our dogs a minimum of 3x times a day come rain or sun shine, and we have fields and parks near us. Whitley Common is on our doorstep and Memorial park is only a 10min away. We also have a decent size fenced rear garden 27m long by 10m wide where our dogs like to play with toys and enjoy fresh air in between walks. I'm not currently working so I can dedicate as much time as required to play and walk our dogs as well as any boarding friends. I normally walk our dogs in the morning, afternoon and evenings before I go to bed. My dogs are very playful and love having an extra friend over. I have an large fenced garden with lots of toys and two small friendly dogs to keep company. My dogs are free around the house, being able to explore every corner of it.
