“After searching for a kennel at short notice without success we discovered Rover via a Google search for dog sitters. From there it was so easy to find a list of local sitters from which Matthew matched our criteria. We arranged to meet at his house and it was immediately apparent from his interaction with our Lurcher and the other dogs he was looking after that he loved animals, and we immediately felt we could trust him as he was so open and transparent about everything. Having previously put both our other dogs into kennels over the years without even considering this type of option, we would definitely use Rover again, as we felt that taking our boy to live in a sitter’s home was far better for him compared to a kennel environment, and we can only hope that Matthew is available to rebook should we need to go away again. Thank you Matthew for caring so much about our rather sensitive boy during his two weeks with you - you can leave your sandwich out now without losing it! - and we will certainly be recommending you.”

“Lauren looked after our cockapoo with such care and attention, I dont think he wanted to leave when we picked him up! Lauren had our pooch for the duration of the day and he was fed, watered and walked exactly as we would. I was actually really impressed with the duration of the walk Lauren gave our dog. His professionalism in time keeping/discipline and always willing to go that extra mile when needed is displayed when looking after my dog. We needed help at relatively short notice and chose Chloe not only because she was nearby but also was ideal because Freddie had never been in kennels and was used to one to one care. “Queenie stayed with Lyrah and Bonny yesterday at short notice queenie is our much loved French bulldog she has some separation issues so leaving her alone is not something we would ever do it was great to know she was with someone who would love her as much as we do. Bonny had set up a lovely bed for her and she was allowed to go about the house I got regular updates throughout the day and queenie went on walks with Bonny and lyrah who she loved it was great to know she was well cared for and happy in her environment Bonny never leaves a dog in her care alone which is brilliant for us. I would 100 percent recommend Bonny to look after your doggies and we will definitely use her again ?”

“Mae is a great dog lover who takes great care of any dog she encounters. No sniff or or scratch is too small to get her attention. She especially loves cooking food from fresh for her dogs (they love chicken liver the most!)”

“Naomi was great at looking after our springer poodle Jacob. She managed his complicated post op routine and allergy / ear cleaning medications very well. His ears were cleaner than when we have cared for him and his stitches have healed perfectly. “We have a high energy fury baby staffordshire bull terrier who stayed with Joe for one week. He dealt with him effortlessly and gave us great peace of mind while we were away. He looked after him as if he was his own and you can instantly see he has the ability to deal with any kind of dog. We highly recommend Joe and will certainly be taking Felito back for a repeat stay:)”
