About: I currently have a 7 month old Goldendoodle puppy called Dotty so I am very used to the chaotic puppy stage! I work from home Thursdays and Fridays and am also available on weekends. My puppy is very good with other dogs but she is energetic so if you have a more senior dog, we may not be the right home for you. I take Dotty out once a day for about an hour but can take adjust this to suit your needs. As I only take booking on the days that I’m working from home or weekends, your dog will have constant company and never be left unattended I have a fenced garden, I can also provide your dog with plenty of enrichment and stimulation to keep them entertained! I live in a house with plenty of space for your pup.

About: I recently lost my dog, and not having a furry friend around gets quite lonely! I'd love to connect with local dogs for walks and sitting, ideally ongoing but also open to one-offs. I live alone (no pets or children) and work from home with minimal leaving hours, so your pet will be carefully looked after. I've previously used Rover as an owner, so I understand your experience and am happy to ease any concerns you may have - don't hesitate to get in touch! I've owned all kinds of animals my whole life; rats, dogs, rabbits, cats, fish, you name it! I grew up with a Rhodesian Ridgeback, and my last dog was a Dogue de Bordeaux that I adopted when she was a senior. I've spent time dog sitting as an adult; before I got my last dog, I spent a month looking after a male Cane Corso, and before that I used to dog sit another Rhodesian Ridgeback. I also have experience with cats, both owning and rescuing strays. Most of my experience involves large breeds, but I love dogs of all shapes and sizes. I have experience caring for older and sick dogs (managing medications, special diets and mobility issues), and managing dogs that can be unpredictable with other dogs (please note I can not take on dogs with handler-oriented aggression). I live alone and work from home. I can offer morning walks and doggy daycare in my home if your pooch wants some walks, play and company :) I can offer dog sitting in my own home - open to stay in your home after a relationship has been built up. Please note that I do not drive, hence I cannot offer walks outside of my local area (unless you drop off). I've previously used Rover as an owner, so I understand the experience from your perspective. I know how important it is to have good communication and a sense of trust in one another; I am happy to answer any questions and offer more background information about myself, and will happily send pictures and updates when sitting. I'm just a text or call away :) Please note I live on the first floor in a building without elevator, so if your dog struggles with stairs and is too heavy to be carried, dog sitting/daycare may not be an option. I do not have a private garden, but I live right opposite a large green area/park. It is only me in the house and I seldom have guests, but my equally dog loving partner comes over 1-2 nights a week.
