We had yet to develop any worthy relationships for such a task of Gimli's care, particularly due to his adolescent nature and tendencies, but the dear Grace is always up for such a challenge. She flew from her home to stay with our first born, engaging in daily outdoor walks, tenured games of fetch, barter and trade deals for treats, short lived hostage negotiations involving a shoe, and the daily removal of biohazardous materials. During this time, she not only expressed deep compassion and comfort for our child during our absence, but continued to provide us comfort with daily communications involving corgi derp faces, belly sploots, videos, and even coordinating the occasional FaceTime. Since being in Tucson, I have regularly dog and cat sat for a couple of friends pretty consistently now I’d say going on about three years. I have experience dog sitting a different array of dog types. I have dog sat anxious dogs, very active dogs, older dogs, heavy dogs, dogs that have needed medication.
