About: I grew up in a home full of furry brothers and sisters - dogs (Yellow Lab, Doberman, GSP), cats (Orange, Manx and Munchkin) and guinea pigs. We were always expected to help with walking, feeding, bathing, liter boxes/pens, playing and of course lots of loving. In college, I had a few different roommates with cats that I always helped look after. I also rescued an abused puppy (long story) and fostered her until finding a new home. I would have kept her myself if my lease would’ve allowed it but still see her often, as a close friend from home took her in. Since moving to Pittsburgh, I regularly am asked/trusted to watch my friends’ animals (and homes) while they’re away on weekends or for extended trips. Some of them would tell you that their fur baby loves Uncle Will more than them ;) I have a 7am - 5pm in office job, Monday through Friday. When I’m taking care of pets, we’re up bright and early for some love and attention (whether that’s walks, pets, liter box cleaning, feeding, some play time, etc) and then they’d be on their own until I’m home from work. Week day evenings include much of the same! I love the outdoors so if your dog does too, we’ll be best friends. Liter boxes are kept very clean, checked morning and evening. I like keeping to a daily routine, so your pets will have a very regular schedule. My weekends are pretty relaxed. I’d only leave to run necessary errands! Morning and evening routines would be very similar to week days and any other care the animal might need can be added in. I’ll always stick to your pets schedule that’s provided - feeding, walking, any medications they might take. We can walk and play outside as much as you’d like! As long as they’re allowed on furniture, I always like to snuggle up and relax on the couch and would allow your pet to sleep on the bed with me (only with your approval). The animal would be free to roam around my apartment, there’s nowhere that’s off limits. If your baby needs to be in a cage at night or while I’d be at work, we can certainly accommodate that as well.
