About: I took loving animals to the next level. I grew up around all kinds of animals, around farms, rode horses, had my own pets, but that wasn’t enough! I went to college and majored in wildlife conservation and ecology. I then became a zookeeper. Taking care of animals large and small was my profession. Nowadays, I work for the DNR as a fish biologist. All my professional experience of caring for animals aside, I have my own lovely Australian Shepard named Scout who is my best friend and shadow. Growing up, our family dog named cocoa lived to 15 years and taught me how to care for these family members and the responsibility it requires. I cannot imagine a life without pets and the joy they bring to all of us. I promise my experiences goes beyond just experience but I always have care and love for each animal I encounter. My current position is seasonal as the lakes freeze and melt. That said, I'm available most days and hours to play with your furry friends and provide them care.
