Sometimes they can be shy to eat in new places and Zikia made sure they both did. Nina is a very nervous dog and Zikia and her family made sure to accommodate her and make her feel comfortable during a storm. We deeply appreciate her and her family.”

Polly is nervous around new people, especially men, but by the second day, she was already comfortable with everyone. Margarida also provided a detailed log of every day that Polly was in her care, as well as an adorable cookie jar with a custom-printed label with Polly's name. We were very nervous about leaving our baby and visited many dog sitters before finding Jackie. Immediately we trusted her and saw in her the warmth and attention and professionalism that we needed. She is well knowledged with all dogs and works with you and according to your specific dog's needs. Her home is a perfect environment and she communicates wonderfully. She is a responsible and calm sitter who will present you with zero red flags. Most importantly is the peace of mind you will get knowing that your dog is getting the protection and the love and caring warmth that you can just sense. Affection. Our dog sensed her safety and love and took to her right away (which he rarely does with new people) It is hard to find that peace of mind especially if your dog is a child to you. Trust me completely. Jackie saved us from worry and nothing means more than knowing that your pet will get loved and cared for and treated the way you treat your pet yourself. She is affectionate and sweet and also relaxed enough to allow your dog to sleep with her and take over the home...being "chill" is also important because you dont want your dog to suddenly have strict rules and to be afraid of a new environment with new rules. Jackie is very relaxed and will not be strict or demanding of your dog. She is attentive to the food needs, senior needs, bathroom habits, anything that is needed she attends to. But in a gentle and correct way. We didn't want our dog to suddenly be in a strict environment with a strict new person. She provides the opposite. Just a safe and loving home... but with a sitter that watches your dog and provides the care ..not halfway but whole and responsibly. I am a worried and concerned and judgemental dog mom who wanted only the best for our baby. I was naturally wary of who I was choosing since it meant so much. So believe me completely when I tell you that if you are discerning too ..but want a wonderful, warm, safe, professional environment for peace of mind and a good home while you are away so you dont have to call a million times and worry and wonder... Jackie is the answer. We will leave him with her in a heartbeat again without any worries. Nothing can buy peace of mind and trust. She was a true find for us. We got lucky.”

Amber and her family came through for me for a last-minute, same-day holiday (4th of July) booking, and they were great from start to finish! Very friendly, helpful, responsive, and flexible and seemed to attend well to my Sienna -- following my various tips and even going lengths to ensure, with her being an older dog, that she wouldn't be out in the heat during walks for too long and was protected by the outside fireworks that first night! Amber also shared some text and picture updates throughout the stay, and her and her husband for were very reassuring both during drop-off and pickup regarding Sienna's care. They were so great that I ended up extending the sit to an extra day, originally scheduled for just one, and they were very accommodating in my doing so. Sienna seemed to like them well, and I think they liked her -- I definitely would book again whenever we're back in this area again!!”
