About: I have owned dogs and cats my entire life and currently have one mutt of my own. I have experience with a full range of animals including small mixes to large more aggressive breeds. I have been through some pet obedience classes with my own animals. I have also worked with owners to make sure that the of obedience skills they are working on are being used while I am taking care of their pets. If this means coming a few minutes early or at a separate time to make meet with the owner and get to know the pets I would love to do so. I also have extensive experience with geriatric dogs including blind dogs. Finally, I have been through a pet emergency first aid class. We follow the same schedule every day and I always go to the dog park in the am and afternoon and spend the evening with a long walk after his dinner. I already have the obligations to my fur baby to go to the park or on walks so whoever I am caring for at my home would be included in the day to day activities. I always try to mirror the same behaviors as any animals owner to make sure I don’t startle them or cause any discomfort. Animals don’t understand what’s happening when you’re just gone one morning and theirs no way to tell them it’s just for a short period of time.
