About: My name is Alexa and I have my Bachelor of Social Work from CSU. I grew up having dogs and have owned cats since 2015. I currently have 2 black cats, named Bambi and Baloo. I love animals and genuinely enjoy spending time with them. I have some varied animal experiences. While at CSU I was involved with a program called Pets Forever for about 3 years where I helped older adults maintain their pet needs such as dog walking (in rain and snow!), litter box cleaning, basic pet grooming and socialization. I also have some equine experience. I had an internship for my BSW where I was a Horse Leader for Hearts and Horses in Loveland. It was such a fun experience where I also learned how to groom and tack horses. Please don’t hesitate to reach out! 😊 I am open to some weekday scheduling after my regular job. I usually have open availability on the weekends. Please reach out and we can make a time and date happen! I live in an apartment and have a spare bedroom for overnight visits. I do have 2 cats who can be kept separate. Bambi can be very shy and is always kept separate from animals I am sitting. Baloo does not mind dogs or cats, he just wants to chill and sleep! I have a patio and plenty of grassy areas right outside my apartment. Your home and pet will always be treated with respect if I provide a drop in service.

10. Amanda D.
“Amanda was so great to work with. This was my first time using Rover and she was super flexible, a great communicator and made me feel at ease. Our trip ended up getting delayed a day home and she jumped in to help us and I was so appreciative of her help.”
11. Lucia O.
“Lucia did a wonderful job watching my 7 year old German Shepard, Ferox, for two weeks while I was overseas. I had a lot of anxiety leaving my boy for that long but Lucia did a phenomenal job of sending regular updates with photos to ease my worries. Ferox tends to pull on the leash however, upon my return, Ferox had learned how to not pull on the leash and focused more on me vs everything else. This has drastically changed the quality of our walks. She also did a wonderful job administering Ferox's medication and logging the times and dosages. I would highly recommend Lucia as she truly took the time to create a bond with Ferox and now they are BFFs.”
12. Kristy C.
“Kristy is wonderful and very trustworthy zShe provides a lot of updates and pictures. She played bird and cat sounds for my cats and really goes the extra mile. Hope to have Kristy watch my kitties again soon!”

14. Rebecca O.
“Rebecca was incredible! Our kitties usually take a little while to warm up to strangers but they felt comfortable with her right away. She was so attentive and flexible, and she’s the one we’ll call again to watch them if we ever need someone. Thank you!!”
15. Ashley & Alan N.
“I can't recommend Ashley enough as a pet sitter! When I was searching for someone to care for my two fur babies, Pochi the Great Dane and Koda the German Husky, during my 3.5-week absence, Ashley stood out because of her attention to detail and organization. She took the time to ask me questions for clarification and diligently noted down their dietary preferences and the specifics of their daily routine. Ashley's thorough approach reassured me that my dogs would be in good hands. Throughout her time with them, she followed their schedule meticulously, ensuring they received the right amount of food and exercise each day. From tailored walks to personalized care, Ashley's dedication and organization truly set her apart. After returning from my trip, it was clear to see that my fur babies, Pochi and Koda, had formed a special bond with Ashley. They exhibited signs of missing her, which spoke volumes about the connection they had formed. It was evident that Ashley had gone above and beyond in providing them with not just care, but also love and companionship. Knowing this, I am definitely going to continue using Ashley's services whenever I'm out of town again. Her exceptional care and the bond she has formed with my pets make her the perfect choice for their future care needs. Thank you, Ashley, for everything you do!”

About: I've been dog sitting for the people in my life 6 years now and I have been around dogs my entire life. I've done quick weekend trips and longer work trips (up to 2 months) staying at other house. I have been able to provide special care including special dietary needs, daily walks, and FaceTime with the owner! I also have had to also provide medication to animals as well. Somehow I tend to be a calming influence animals as well. I have experience with small, medium, and large dogs as well. I work from home so my job is flexible and this opens up my availability for overnight dog sitting and going to assist with daily needs for dogs while their owners are working. Pet care fits into my daily life the same as my everyday activities. Feeding my animals, walking the dog, and cleaning the cat box are a normal part of my day in my house. I prefer to care of animals in their environment. They feel safe there and open up to care more easily. I can take an animal into my home but we live in an apartment and they may not feel as comfortable. Your pet will already be stressed with you gone so I want to do whatever I can to help distress them.
