1. Veronica R.
“Veronica is the BEST! Our dog got sick while we were gone and Veronica kept me very well informed and also brought her carpet cleaner to clean up his messes. I always feel at ease when I know Veronica is watching our animals because I know she treats them as though they were hers. We will definitely be hiring her again!”
2. Lucille A.
“Lucy cares so much for my bratty little terrier. We've used her multiple times and my dog enjoys having her around after she realizes I'm not coming right back. Can't say enough good things about Lucy.”
3. Amber W.
“Amber is great; I recommend her to care for your pets. We have three cats and she dropped in daily to monitor, clean, brush, and play. One is very very shy and Amber tried diligently to coax her out of hiding with no avail…stranger danger LOL!! Amber is a great communicator and I had no concerns. The daily pics and her care & compassion brought me peace of mind.”
4. Joellia T.
“My pretentious dog is difficult to please. Yet, Joellia quickly found a way - so much so I now question his loyalty. Regardless, I highly recommend her services.”
5. Emilee E.
“Emilee was so excellent and exceeded every expectation!!! Emilee helped us with drop ins for our two days daily for 4 days. She was always communicative, respectful, and professional, while still being super down to earth and friendly. Emilee sent so many photo and video updates along with rover cards. I never worried about my home or care of my cats with her which made our trip even better. One of my cats is super friendly and she was sure to give her lots of love and attention, and the other cat is not so friendly but Emilee was sure to find her every visit just to check on her, which was so unexpected and appreciated. We came home and it was like we had just been gone for a few hours; our house was in tip top shape and everything was well taken care of and all my pets needs were obviously fulfilled. Emilee went above and beyond in every aspect, I can’t say enough positive things about our experience. 15/10 will hire again and so thankful for her help!!!”
6. Katie H.
“Katie was awesome! She was extremely communicative and that put me at ease. Thank you for taking such good care of my fur babies and giving them all the love. She also took the best pictures! Thanks again :)”
7. Debby G.
“Debby was very professional, kind, and flexible. I felt very safe with my dog staying with her and being taken care of by her. She handled Cleo with kindness and love that I would give her myself. I really appreciated her taking Cleo in on short notice and even took her in to her house instead of just dropping in.”
8. Whitney T.
“We always trust our cat with Whitney. She is very caring and helpful. Can’t imagine what Maurice would do without her when we travel. Thank you Whitney!”
9. Camille T.
About: Hi! I’m Camille, a certified vet assistant since May 2023, currently studying at Wichita State University. I split my time between Wichita and my hometown, Norman, Oklahoma, where I work at Boomer Veterinary Hospital during breaks. I also volunteer on weekends (usually from 11 am to 2 pm, but I’m flexible!). I’m Fear Free certified, which means I use gentle techniques to reduce pets’ anxiety and stress during care. I have personal experience with anxious pets—my own dog, Basco, is a great example, and you can see his cute face on my profile! I also have experience with ferrets, cockatiels, and guinea pigs, having grown up with two as pets and from boarding at Boomer on the weekends. I generally have classes from 8 am to 2 pm, but I’m happy to clarify availability when you contact me. I always leave homes clean and follow instructions, no matter how specific. Whether it’s cats, dogs, or even more exotic pets, I’m here to care for your furry friends, including those with more anxious personalities that may take a little more time and patience. I generally have class from 8 am-2 pm during the week, as mentioned in my profile, and I volunteer from 11 am-2 pm on weekends, though I’m flexible with these times. I’m happy to work with the owner’s schedule as much as I can, whenever needed, to ensure the best care for your pets. When checking on pets, I always announce my presence and greet the animals warmly. I prioritize following owners’ directions and ensure to leave the space better than I found it.
10. Alicia K.
“Thanks for all the photos and fun description of drop in. 🙂 Alicia provided an updated calendar to show availability, which I appreciate, and gives detailed notes on how caring for the sweet puppies goes that day.”
11. Amber K.
“Amber did a great job taking care of all of my babies (dogs and cats) and that’s a lot right now! She made herself available at the last minute, which was very much appreciated.”
12. Sydney C.
“We added a puppy to our group and Sydney did great taking care of all 3 of our dogs! They can be a handful when they’re all together. She is very in tune when our senior dog gets too tired.”
13. Sydni M.
“Could not ask for a more thoughtful and reliable person for my precious dogs!”
14. Anna Hope S.
“Anna Hope has always been amazing with animals. She grew up taking care of dogs, horses, cats, goats, and occasionally calves. She absolutely loves animals and they adore her in return. She is great at using positive reinforcement in training her own dogs and always has well behaved, loving dogs as a result. She has experience taking care of big and small dogs alike. She is very responsible and caring and one of the most dependable people I know. She will take incredible care of any and all animals in her care!”
15. Elizabeth H.
“We love Elizabeth!! She always takes such good care of our cats and keeps us up to date with everything at home. She consistently goes the extra mile.”
16. Cherry L.
“Cherry was wonderful to work with! She stopped by prior to sitting for my cats to meet them and see where everything was. During her visits she provided pictures and detailed updates on how my cats were doing. I would definitely recommend her to others and will be using her again.”
17. Heather Anne E.
“We had a meet and greet prior to the drop-in visit and our dog was very comfortable with Heather. Heather also communicated with us prior to and after the visit. We were very pleased with Heather’s service and will definitely use her again.”
18. Mateo M.
About: I’ve had cats and dogs all my life so I am qualified to take care of them as needed. I had 3 big Italian mastiffs and know how to take care of bigger dogs. While family is away I am usually the one to take care of their pets while away. I am currently a student at tabor College, so I have a lot of time on my hands because I am remote. So I am in Wichita the majority of the time. I do have a second job in Hillsboro but it should not mess with anything agreed upon. In my apartment, I prioritize safety and trust while caring for pets. Although I lack a backyard, I ensure a secure environment by removing hazards and supervising pets during playtime. Regular walks in safe areas provide exercise and socialization. I establish a trusting bond through positive interactions and consistent routines. Additionally, I maintain a clean space, use pet-friendly products, and ensure proper nutrition and hydration to promote overall well-being for the pets in my care.
19. Taylor P.
“Taylor has been so patient with our little fur baby as she gets comfortable to a new person. I’m very thankful to have her to rely on!”
20. Morgan W.
“Morgan is one of the most responsible people I know. She has cared for my cat, Maybelle, before and I never once worried about the way Maybelle would be treated or cared for while I was gone. She sent me numerous pictures and updates on Maybelle and never failed to let me know if something went wrong. She has a strong work ethic and puts 100% into everything she does. I think Morgan would be great at this job as she has always been surrounded by animals growing up and understands what it takes to care for an animal, especially if it is not her own.”
