She had a small list of questions for me to answer about my Ollie to start, including his current vet info for any emergency care, so I appreciated that. She visited the house first and made sure she had her questions answered about food, play, litter care, etc. She is friendly, sweet, and relaxed. She's a hands-on grandmother, too, so that's a plus for someone trustworthy and can handle anything! While I was away, she provided daily updates and even a photo via text, which was so comforting to receive. Ollie seemed happy upon return and everything was left nice and neat. “I needed pet care when I was in Hawaii in July 2024. I have two dogs and 2 cats. They all have specific feedings and walking schedules for the dogs has to be later in the evenings . Hannah did a great job of making sure the dogs had their food on time and their walks twice a day. She stayed at my house so that the new kitten could be kept inside and the dogs could use the dog door. My house was clean and all of my animals were very very happy when I returned ! Moose got to play with Kathleen's Goldens, and she said the three of them played non-stop! About: I grew up loving dogs but not being able to have one so, of course, the first thing I did when I finally got my own place in LA was getting a dog, a Shar Pei rescue named Wrinkles. I spent my 20’s with him learning and playing. I have been trusted by family to pet sit for their dogs while out of town on vacation to keep up with strict dog schedule and routines. After Wrinkles passed in 2020, I started fostering local large breed dogs until I was ready for my own again. They were a mix of puppies and adults of all sorts of breeds and cared for them through spay and neutering, vaccinations, potty training, and working on being leash or dog reactive and found each an amazing home for them (and even inspired a few friends to start fostering themselves!) After multiple fosters I adopted an energetic cattle dog mix named Roux. We moved back up to Yolo County for work and are settling back in to life up here waving at every dog we see, play a lot of fetch, and playing with her dog “cousins” and friends! I also volunteer at the local animal shelter to play with the dogs there for daily exercise when I can! I am able to pet sit in the owners home, do walks or hikes with my dog or just yours solo, or pop in just to play or feed! I keep my calendar up to date for days I am in town and available often! If more than a few days is needed, please reach out about to confirm length, availability, and needs! I have cared for both 3 month old puppies and ailing senior dogs. I am happy to accommodate what your dog is used to to keep their schedule as consistent as possible with a little extra fun thrown in the mix! Schedules, food, treat allowance, walking/play sessions, crate time will be discussed so you and your dog are as comfortable as possible and can enjoy your time apart!
