About: I’ve owned dogs my whole life! My current dog is a rescue and I’ve learned a lot through my experience with her, including professional training to help her fearful tendencies. Getting to know a dog brings me so much joy! I have the knowledge of how to engage with many different types of dogs, no matter their quirks! I am capable and enthusiastic about working with animals and love any opportunity to meet a new furry friend! I am to please so whatever you need, whether that be a picture of your friend on their walk or even some water in your plants, don’t be afraid to ask! I currently work as a mental health clinician in the crisis and developmental disabilities world. I work remotely a lot and have my weekends free all day. I’m typically pretty flexible! Keeping your dog safe is top priority for me. My current pup has many special considerations that have helped me learn many creative ways to work will all types of dog needs. I am excellent at communicating, am very organized, and professional. I have lots of experience with reactive, shy, and abused dogs as well as elder dogs that’s need lots of hands on care. About: Are you looking to go out of town for the weekend or for a weeks vacation, but don't want to stress your pet(s) by boarding them? I would be happy to come care for your furry friends at your home, and am comfortable doing overnight stays. I am very comfortable around all dog breeds and sizes. Have a cat or other family pet that needs care as well? No problem! I'm open to caring for animals other than dogs, too, and would love the opportunity to discuss caring for your pets further. Growing up my family always had dogs and cats around, and we also raised 7 dogs for Guiding Eyes for the Blind. For the past 5 years I've been pet/house sitting for others as a way to spend additional time around animals, and provide families with an alternative to boarding.
