About: I have several years of hands-on experience providing compassionate care for dogs of all ages and breeds. I've taken care of dogs of every kind for as long as I can remember and have somehow made myself my family and friend’s designated dog sitter :) - and currently volunteer at Metro Animal Care & Control in Nashville, and am a current foster parent for their sweet babies looking for their fur-ever home. What sets me apart (or perhaps doesn’t on an app like this ;)) is my attention to each dog's unique needs and genuine love of animals. Whether it's giving extra patience and care to seniors with mobility or health issues (just recently lost my sweet Nova girl after 11 years) or helping energetic puppies with basic training, I’m committed to ensuring your dog feels safe, loved, and engaged. I’m also experienced in administering medication and understanding dog behavior, so I can quickly spot any signs of discomfort or stress. My goal is to create a seamless, stress-free experience for both you and your pet! I work from home, so I'll have plenty of time to play with and tend to all your pups needs. I'm available for boarding on weekends, and weekdays - pretty much anytime. When caring for pets in my home or a client's home, safety, trust, and comfort are my top priorities. I take the time to understand each dog’s personality and individual needs to create a tailored approach to their care. For energetic dogs, I provide ample exercise and mental stimulation to keep them happy and engaged. For more anxious or senior dogs, I maintain a calm, predictable environment to reduce stress. In my home, I make sure the space is dog-proofed, clean, and free from hazards, with cozy spots for rest and plenty of room for play. If I’m caring for your dog in your home, I ensure their routine remains consistent, which helps ease any separation anxiety. I always respect your space, follow any instructions you provide, and send regular updates for peace of mind. I believe that every dog is different, so I prioritize clear communication with owners to adjust my approach as needed, ensuring that your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for, no matter the environment.
10. Joelle K.
“Joelle is a dog lover and treats all animals with kindness and respect. She understands that they are not pets but members of the family and does her best to care for and make sure the dogs feel safe and secure while she is watching them.”
11. Ross B.
“There is nobody I would trust more to mind my dogs than Ross, I have known him for 9 years and is a kind hearted, even tempered person who just loves dogs and is very good with them, including nervous terriers, excitable spaniels and all types in between. Could not recommend him highly enough”
12. Jen R.
“Jax did daycare with Jen and I enjoyed the pics and video she sent. Our moving day was a lot less stressful with her help.”
13. Callee N.
“Callee was amazing with my puppy. She sent me photos throughout the time she cared for my dog. Nova was so happy and had a ton of fun while I enjoyed Nashville. I would highly recommend her as a pet sitter and would absolutely have her watch my fur baby again.”
14. Amber R.
“Amber has watched my dog for me on several occasions while I go out of town for my profession. She updates me often with pictures of my dog. She has even kept Diamond for me on short notice when something has come up. She is very genuine when it comes to caring for animals and is someone you can trust. I would rate her 1000% if I could.”
15. Mary L.
“Mary and her dogs are the absolute best! She truly treats your dog as her own and takes wonderful care of them.”
16. Gavin Z.
“I felt so at ease leaving my pup! They are amazing!”
17. Cooper T.
“My pup came home exhausted which is great! Cooper was very communicative throughout the day so I felt at ease that she was in good hands.”
18. Eric H.
“Eric is one of the most honest, loyal, and helpful people I have ever known! He has always been such a great caregiver to all animals, including my own pup. His dog, Sasha, is such a sweetheart and his hard work definitely shows through her.”
19. Autumn R.
About: Hello! I have been taking care of many different kinds of animals my whole life. I grew up with large breeds such as brilliant great Great Dane, loyal Boxers, and the sweet Dobermans. I’ve also had the pleasure of having a sweet but fragile chocolate teacup chihuahua, along with numerous cats, ferrets, and creatures of all sorts. I love all animals and it brings me joy to bring them the type of comfort and care they need. I currently work full time, M-F til 5pm, and off weekends. I’m usually home every evening by 6, and available most weekends. My boyfriend who is an absolute pup and kitty fanatic is usually always home as well by 3pm every day for the whole evening. I have a kitty named Berlioz who loves being around other animals. When I have dog sat for family members in the past, I usually make sure they are comfortable and well fed inside, and take them to the dog park at my apartments for play time. My complex is large, so it gives me some exercise as well taking the extra energetic ones around the block. I’m also experienced in giving pets scheduled medications if needed. I do not have a crate of my own, but would be happy to bring yours to my home if requested.
20. Christa W.
About: My name is Christa, I’ve been dog sitting for Rover in Tennessee for about 6 years. I reduced my work load to repeat clients only for a while and am ready to reopen my books back up to meet new and fun clients! I work full time from home for Lyft HQ. I work 4 days a week, Mon-Thurs 6:30 am - 5:00 pm with Friday-Sunday off. I enjoy dog sitting because it not only allows me to make some extra income, but I also get my much needed dog fix in! What better way to have all that, than to spend my extra time with your fun loving pup(or any other animal). I grew up with dogs and am used to being around all types. We all need a break and just that one favor can be a huge life saver. I'm here to help make sure your dog is well taken care of even when life gets a little crazy. I'm flexible & willing to go above and beyond. As stated above I do work 4 days a week, those are 10 hour shifts. My shifts can be flexible with enough notice and I'm happy to help before and after a shift and all day on my off days. I am more than happy to administer any meds that your pup takes orally with a treat. I am not comfortable with administering any injectable's, this does not mean that I will not or cannot take care of your pet, but you will need to have a friend or vet visits set up for anything that can’t be hidden in a treat. I currently live in a single level condo style home. I don’t have a “backyard”, but my complex does have a fenced in area for pups. For boarding or day care I’ll only be allowing one client at a time so no worries about issues with multiple dogs in the home. I do have two cats so there may be some side eyes and annoyed hisses but mostly they’ll hide. Most of my clients past and present have gotten to know me well enough to hire me outside of the app, so you can feel confident that I will love your pet like my own. I can’t wait to meet you and your babe! Thanks for considering me :) With my current full time position I don’t have a ton of extra time to leave during the day for drop ins, but am always willing to check as my day to day meetings change. Before/After my work hours and on my days off are the easiest to schedule. I will always be respectful of your home and space. I clean up after myself and make sure to leave it the way I found it. I will ensure we have a good way to keep in contact incase there are any emergencies or issues that arise. Your pet will always be safe with me.
