Most importantly she was extremely patient and fully competent with Bosco’s separation anxiety. She was also very gentle with him since he is 15 years old and has aches and pains. About: I've taken care of 2 red-setters regularly while back in the UK, as well as had my own dog when I was a child. I've also had a cat who was diabetic for 2 years, who was originally feral and had to be gradually domesticated! I'm currently a PhD student at Tulane university, with quite a flexible schedule. I'm looking to do a two or three visits or walks a week with a regular client, or overnights at the weekend. I would want to be able to foster a good relationship with your pooch so that they are comfortable and used to me, so regular visits would be preferable. I will heed any advice and guidance and advice you give me with regards to behavioural or health concerns. I am comfortable with giving animals medication. I am a PhD student so my schedule is flexible. Mornings work best for me, as well as weekends. I can take the dog for up to 1.5 hours at a time or stop by at your house to say hello! I only offer services outside of my own home, because my landlord does not allow pets. If at a client's home, I would take the time initially to say hello to the dog and get them used to me and my smell, perhaps with a treat or two if it was healthy for them to have. I would make sure any food or water is topped up and that they have been to the toilet. I would also bring some toys with me if they like to play, and of course give them cuddles - or space if that's more their style!

“Mackenzie was very responsive and was quick to make last minute arrangements while on our trip to New Orleans. We had an early check out at hotel and needed a place for a fur baby to stay while awaiting our late afternoon flight-- we dropped him off at at 12pm with anticipation to pick up around 3pm. Unfortunatley, our flight was delayed and she was very flexible in allowing us to grab him by 4:30 to help accomodate him and alleviate our anxiety regarding what we would do with a dog in the heat of New Orleans for a few hours. She took him on potty breaks, a walk, and her and her boyfriend provided lots of playtime and love till we got back. He was pooped on the flight home. I would highly recommend leaving Mackenzie with your animal, she was great!”
