About: I have had two small dogs that were the light of my life! Currently, I have Tanna my rescue chihuahua. I watch my sister’s pit bull (Dawn), my brother’s large dog (Maggie) and my friend’s medium and small dog (Cooper with Tanna). About: Experienced dog trainer! I’ve been training dogs for about 2 years now. I’ve had hands on experience/training with well over 100 dogs of all different breeds. Any dog of any breed is more than welcome here at our kennel and home for boarding and daycare! Our property is well maintained with a large fenced in area for your dogs to run around in while supervised. With trails through the woods for longer leashed walks. If preferred your dogs will have no interactions with others dogs. All potty breaks or walks outside the fenced in area are strictly on leash. I take great pride and responsibility when it comes to working with animals. The safety of my clients dogs is my number one priority. Recently moved to North Jackson from Green Ohio. Im looking to make connections with people and animals as I work towards establishing my training program in this area. About: I only work 24 shifts at my full time job, leaving several days with nothing to do. Thinking about what I was passionate about, I knew that I would love to work with animals. I have always had dogs in my home growing up, large and small. I enjoy taking my dog (Koda) to the park, which is right across the street from my home. Koda is a very active husky mix I adopted from the Portage County APL about eight years ago. He loves other dogs and has never had a problem with any other dog, large or small, male or female, neutered or not. When I first started rover years ago, I met an owner and her two dogs who I frequently took care of for years until she sadly moved out of state. Because my time was occupied with her dogs, I couldn’t offer my time to others through this site which is why my profile has been inactive for some time. . I’ve worked at two different dog shelters, a boarding facility, and I volunteer for a local dog shelter. Im working on getting my dog training certification also. I’ve been successful in understanding dog behavior in different environments, and I especially love working with dogs who struggle with behavioral issues. I currently have a 14 year old dog who’s my best friend, my whole world. I adopted him when he was roughly 3 months old. I never board him, I’m super paranoid and picky if anyone watches him for me. So I get it if you feel the same! I do work full time currently, but I don’t have many obligations outside of work. I prefer to stay active as often as possible, and will make sure your dog gets the exercise it needs! My weekends are usually open, and I’m available during the week after 5pm. Every dog is different, I will accommodate their needs in any way I can. From high energy puppies to calm seniors and everything in between, their comfort is most important. I prefer to keep the dogs daily routine in check, and minimize any stress for them.
