3. Alyssa L.
“Alyssa's first day on the job was not an easy one, (it rained!) but she took care of my dogs superbly! She was on time and available at a moment's notice for a second walk. I have a special needs dog and Alyssa worked really hard to make his day a good one. I have her booked permanently.”
4. Lisette S.
“I hired Lisette to walk and care for my 6 year old golden retriever/pit bull mix rescue dog Lucy whenever I would go out of town for business. Lisette is the daughter of my co-worker, the first time she met my best friend Lucy, Lucy was a bit standoffish due to her being uneasy around strangers. After a few hours Lucy loved Lisette and felt comfortable around her. Lisette would care for Lucy for 2 weeks every month while I was away, she would send me daily pictures of their walks or when they were just hanging out. Sometimes Lucy wouldn't want to leave Lisette's apartment. Although I don't travel as much I still employ Lisette to walk Lucy just so that Lucy can see her good friend Lisette. I definitely recommend Lisette to care for your 4 legged friends. Lisette would also watch over my 3 year old cat Benito. Although Benito does not need much maintenance Lisette always makes time to play with him and ensures he eats his food. Lisette also recommended for me to add water to his wet food to ensure he drinks more water for health reasons. I cannot recommend Lisette enough, she is good at what she does, I have also recommended her to other friends who do not have time to walk tbeir 4 legged friends.”
5. Montserrat J.
“Montserrat has taken care of my baby, Cookie, on numerous occasions. She always makes sure to send pictures and videos of what Cookie is doing because she always wants to let me know what’s happening with the both of them! She always discloses odd behaviors or lighthearted ones that Cookie might’ve done and what the results were so that I’m aware of possible concerns once I return. Because Cookie is a small bichon frise, Montserrat also understands that unless if he’s wearing a leash, there should be no reason he should be outside nor that the front door or back door should be wide open since he does like to run out into the street, leash or no leash! Even though I have no restrictions on where Cookie is allowed to be at, Montserrat is still careful to keep an eye on him so he never falls. Cookie mainly loves jumping onto the kitchen table, living room tables, window ledges, and couch arm rests because he likes feeling tall. Montserrat understands this so she won’t obstruct him from jumping on. If anything, she’ll help him get down or up so he never risks an injury so I really appreciate the extra precautions she takes, regardless of how hyperactive and carefree of injuries my Cookie is! When she takes him on walks, she always makes sure to dress him for the occassion so he’s warm and only has to worry about going to the bathroom. Moreover, Montserrat carries a bag with water, a bowl, and treats just in case my Cookie ever needs something on his walks. Montserrat too makes sure Cookie is exercising and having fun by playing with him and his toys to ensure he’s never bored. Overall, she’s been more than an adequate dog sitter and I trust her to keep my baby company because she’s proven to be a sincere girl that truly cares about my Cookie, his safety, and well being!”

8. Yue Ting C.
“I had the pleasure of having Yue Ting care for my two cats, and I can confidently say that she possesses the qualities essential for this role. During her time with KK and Tutu, she developed a remarkable bond with them. She demonstrated an extraordinary ability to connect with them, even managing to trim the nails of my more temperamental cat—a task I had found impossible. Her patience and understanding of animal behavior are truly commendable. Yue Ting is not only skilled in handling pets, but she also knows how to quickly soothe them when they are anxious. Throughout the time she cared for my cats, she consistently kept me updated, sending photos and providing insights into their behavior. Her attention to detail allowed her to notice subtle changes in their mood and health, which gave me peace of mind. I wholeheartedly recommend Yue Ting as a pet sitter. Her dedication, compassion, and expertise make her an excellent choice for anyone looking for reliable and loving care for their pets.”

10. Maritza V.
“Maritza was great with my fur babies for a weekend stay! I booked her through references (word of mouth) and asked her to send plenty of pictures of them while playing, going on walks, and for their meals time. I was happy when she sent me more pictures than needed to make sure they were having a good time and put me at ease. When I went to pick my kids up, it seemed like they wanted to play some more with her. Overall really glad with booking Maritza to take care of them!”
11. Adriana B.

About: Ive worked with animals throughout my youth. First experience working with animals outside of my home was at a doggy day care in the south side suburbs of Chicago. I worked with small dogs and soon took responsibility of larger dogs, and moved into grooming. I worked alongside the owner with socializing and transitioning boarded dogs to be comfortable in kennels for overnight stays. I loved this job and wanted to turn it into a career at the time. I later volunteered at animal shelters and have always been my friends and family first person to call to babysit their pups. This summer I have taken a step back and left my full time job and am out of school. I currently work part time at a restaurant with a liberal and flexible schedule. Before leaving my job, I considered going back to the shelter with the intention of fostering, till a friend recommended how my lifestyle may better accommodate an app like Rover. Work with variety of animals and breeds and more-so be on call and work with owners who share a love and care for their pet. I live in a 2 bedroom apartment with a fenced in backyard and generous sized porch on the main level of my building. There are no stairs necessary to enter my home. Besides myself I live with a rabbit who has free roam to my home. When boarding or having in-home visits with your pet I will keep my rabbit separated at all times in my spare bedroom. My neighborhood is dog friendly and I’d have 24/7 supervision over the safety, comfortability, and happiness of your pet!
13. Natalie M.
About: Overall, I would describe myself as an animal lover! I volunteered at my local zoo for 3 years, I have had pets my whole life and have pet-sat since I can remember. All of these factors culminate to mean one thing: I will take great care of your pet! I am also an avid hiker and runner so getting the exercise in for your animal will be of no issue. As a pet haver of a cat and dog myself, I understand the extreme love that pets give. I wouldn’t want to leave my pets in hands I didn’t trust—and neither should you! I work part time at a store nearby and work from home on the days when I am not there! I am often all over the city and walking around anywho, so I love to have animals join me! I love to play with and watch cats especially. If staying in my home dogs must be well mannered around cats as there are cats here!
