“Lucia was amazing with my dogs. She came at all the specified times and gave me lots of updates and photos. I felt completely at ease knowing she was looking after my dogs. Lucia communicated brilliantly and I’ll definitely book her again. Thank you Lucia”
5. Georgia J.
“I was staying in York for a week and Georgia and / or her partner Will took my dog for a walk each morning. It's a huge leap of faith to hand your dog over to someone you don't know, in a city that you don't live in but they both brilliant. Quick to respond to the booking, and flexible when both traffic and meetings meant we had to move the 2 of the booking times. They were prompt, friendly, kind, so knowledgeable and brilliant with my one year old cavapoo. I would wholeheartedly recommend them and will be calling on them again when I come back next year.”

8. Megan S.
“Megan has looked after my 2 dogs - 2 senior Labradoodles. She is clearly an animal lover and cares considerably about her charges. She has a large living space, and a huge dog proof garden for the dogs to roam freely. She is affectionate and attentive to their needs showing patience and care. She ensured they went on at least one walk a day and pending weather two walks around the country lanes and fields surrounding her home. I would have no reservation in recommending her for your dog(s) care”
9. Isabella H.
“Isabella is my daughter, so I thought I'd get that in in the interests of "full disclosure", she is also the loving human mother to Barney. Barney is a show Cocker Spaniel (black and tan), he's 3.5 years old and Isabella begged us for years for a dog (we were previously a cat only home). I told her if she wanted a dog, then she would need to walk and look after neighbours' dogs and in all weathers and for over a year she walked Daisy and Quince. Daisy is sadly no longer with us, but Barney and Quince are now best friends. When we first got Barney, Isabella took Barney to puppy training / socialising classes for months as she wanted a well behaved dog! Isabella is now away at University in York (almost 200 miles from Barney) so she only sees him a few times per year now, so her idea to dog sit and dog walk, etc. would be great for Isabella and any dog she looks after.”

12. Oleta M.
“Oleta is a wonderful pet sitter who took care of our family's Jack Russell Peter for one week early this summer. She is very active and he had plenty of walks, and Oleta sent lots of updates so we could see how our little man was getting on. He was completely himself when he came home -- happy and carefree! I am very pleased to recommend Oleta.”
13. Kathryn B.
“Kathryn has been looking after my puppy for the last four months. She is reliable and really treats him like her own dog when looking after him. Highly recommend.”
14. Dawn C.
“Dawn has looked after my 2 dogs on a few occasions now. It’s very hard finding someone reliable to look after your fur babies but she keeps me up to date on all of their adventures. They all really get on with Dawns dogs and enjoy going back each time. I would definitely recommend Dawn to look after your dog.”

About: I’ve been around dogs for a long time, as long as I can remember. I have experience with pups, cranky dog teens and seniors. I have hands on experience with various breeds and temperaments, along with training. Your pup will be treated like family while they’re here! I have a very flexible work schedule so your pup will never be alone during their stay. They will have plenty of exercise throughout the day along with treats and baths as and when needed. I start each day with a consistent schedule that includes walks, feedings, and playtime. Keeping a routine gives the dogs a sense of security, helping them feel at home. I have a fenced garden, so they will have constant access to the outside should they want it. There’s plenty of room for them to wander around the house and we also have plenty of fields and walking trails near my home. I believe in the importance of companionship, so I spend quality time with the dogs. Whether it’s petting them, playing, or just relaxing together, I’m there to meet their need for social interaction and affection. I also have a pup of my own, Oreo. He’s very friendly with other dogs and is neutered.

“My Gus adores Kira. Thank you so much for taking him out for his strolls x”
17. Luke O.
“Luke finds it easy to build trusting relationships with pets. He’s patient and kind with them, attributes which I think comes from a genuine love of being in the company of animals. He has plenty of experience looking after his own cat, my family dog, and the dogs of other family friends that keep returning to him for dog sitting which I believe is testament to his reliability and integrity as a pet sitter. I would be confident leaving my beloved pets in his care.”
