About: Hi, I have taken care of my own animals and/or family pets since I was a child, I love dogs and I love cats. I also love being active outdoors! I am a yoga instructor/massage therapist with the convenience of making my own schedule! I am available Monday-Sunday any time, I only need two days notice. I accept animals in my home or I can come to yours, I have a townhome that is three levels and backyard fenced area. Also I have a ton of trails around my home.

“I fully recommend Rubi to care for pets, as I’ve known her well for over 10 years and have lived with her for about 5 of those years. Rubi has grown up surrounded by animals such as cats, dogs, chickens, and ducks! She has had her family dog Chikis for all 14 years and loves him dearly. She has helped to take great care of him since he was young and his old age is a testament to the wonderful care and love she has provided for him. When she and I lived as roommates together post-grad, we co-owned a hamster and she was very reliable and trustworthy, ensuring Doug the hamster always had food, water, and ample playtime. Rubi currently has a cat named Arya who she has had for 8 years. She has previous experience with administering required daily medicine (no easy feat to give a cat medicine!) and is very diligent in making sure Arya's nails are trimmed and she is receiving the proper attention she deserves. I can tell that dogs and cats love Rubi, but overall she is very affectionate with all pets and is very careful. There have been times when a pet required a specific hourly schedule, for example when a puppy is still getting potty and crate trained, and she has been diligent about setting alarms for herself and communicating the rules with others in the household to not derail from the pet’s training. I believe anyone would have a great experience trusting their pet with Rubi!”
