About: I have been in vet med for about 4 yrs. I am well versed in medications, dog behavior, and exercise. I can also do some grooming if needed. I have neonatal experience and senior care. Working at a animal hospital has prepare me to take care of almost all animals and their many needs. I do work full time at an animal hospital but my schedule Is definitely flexible. I can fit sitting, drop in, and or walking in my day. I like to meet the pets and get a feel for their daily routine and environment. It gives me a good idea on how to go about it. I also love notes and instructions to stay on track. I am very organized and write everything down. Like bathroom breaks, food and water intake, medication and times given. About: I have a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Sciences from Virginia Tech. I then went on to work at a local animal shelter caring for dogs and cats for the next 5 years. In 2014 I was accepted into Blue Ridge Community College’s Veterinary Technology program, and have been working in a private practice that care for dogs and cats for 10 years. I will be able to provide care mostly on the weekends. I am available most Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. If you are needing something outside of that window please contact me and I will try to make it happen.
