About: My 3 year old golden retriever LOVES other dogs as do I. We love to to have other dogs share our home for playtime and cuddles while their pet parents are away. I travel often and know how much more enjoyable my time away is when I know my golden girl is being cared for the way I would care for her. I strive to provide the same for my furry guests! I work outside of the home during Monday through Thursday for 8 hours a day but I am home all day on the the weekends. We are happy being homebodies and playing in the fenced in backyard or going out for a hike. We even have 40 acres close by with a cabin, river and hiking trails that is super fun for the dogs!

When we came to pick her up she was very upset to leave Gwynn and Meatball because she was having the time of her life. She made sure Vera had walks of the length and nature she is permitted and cuddled her at night when she needed reassurance about our absence. Vera loved sitting in the pool while cooling off during our recent heat spell. Deb's extensive knowledge of dog behavior provided new insights to us; she helped us understand some of Vera's responses when we arrived and affirmed the findings of our pet shrink (yes we had one when she was a puppy). Frequent photos and updates from Deb not only exceeded expectations but they also reassured us during a difficult time for leaving Vera. About: There was not a single day in my life that I was not surrounded by dogs. No matter which house we lived in, I was always greeted after school by one, two or three dogs. Before moving for university, my mother and I began fostering puppies for two weeks at time. We would wake up at 4am when we heard them squealing, stay up late making sure they could have the latest potty break possible for hopes of maybe sleeping in the next day, and even build a pen in our backyard to allow for endless playtime together. Due to these numerous pups we cared for, my dogsitting popularity skyrocketed in our neighborhood. I was being called upon every other week to care for my neighbors cats, dogs, and once even a chinchilla. Now, I hope to provide the same service and be there for your cutest friends when life simply gets in the way. I don't mind the -20 degree weather if it means going for a nice brisk walk with your dogs.
