About: I have 5 years of experience dog walking. I have been dog sitting on and off for the past few years. I have a dog of my own that I have had for 3 years. I treat your dog as if he or she was my own dog. I am very responsive while I watch the dog. I enjoy sending lots of pictures and updates to the owner. I used to have a dog named Princess who was alive for 13 years. She enjoyed snuggles a lot! I also had a dog named Harley. She belongs to my dad now. I've had my Benji Boy for 3 years now. I used to take care of Harley when my father went away on vacation. I made sure I fed her, walked her and gave her lots of attention. I also gave her treats if she was being a good listener. I feed Benji two times a day, I add water to his bowl about 4 times a day, I take him out in the backyard every 4 hours, I walk him early in the morning before I go to my day job. Benji is very friendly and loves being social with other dogs! I will make sure your dog is given lots of attention and love. I have open availability right now until I find a full time job. Please send a message to ask if I will be available during a specific holiday. I can walk your dog in the afternoon and make sure they are fed and have water in their bowls. I go to client's homes because I feel the dog will be more comfortable being in their own environment. Usually the dog is very comfortable being in their own home and is able to get comfortable with me. If there are any rules in the house, I follow them. I make sure to keep the common areas clean if I end up staying over someone's home.

He was very effective in taking care of Bandits' needs including some special medical foods and procedures required. And he's flexible -- he was able to also take care of my daughter's dog Brandy for some of the time while he was also taking care of Bandit. He also is an effective communicator and regularly sent us texts and pictures, as well as knowing when to ask questions if there might be a problem that arose. He's just very good. “She’s amazing with dogs! She did house sitting and dog sitting for us. She had previously dog sat for our dogs and then we had her booked again, but then had some last minute big family changes and suddenly inherited 2 new dogs. With the big changes we had to switch around which dogs she watched for the week. She was extremely accommodating and understanding. Also, those dogs had been through some recent trauma and she worked so hard to build their trust and by the end of the week they were cuddling up and loving on her. I work a part time job so in my free time I like walking dogs and seeing other dogs and everything they have to give. I have a fence so he can play when he wants on the deck or if he wants a walk. If they misbehave I can crate them so they can learn.

“Ellie was an excellent dog sitter. She arrived on time , even when we changed the time for her to come sooner. I explained to her that our dog is still new to us and in mid-training, so she should expect the walks to be difficult and she should keep them short. While we were out, she gave us constant updates, and told us he was actually doing great on walks and they got to explore, which meant he had a really good time even though we were out. When we came back he seemed so fulfilled! Also Ellie is awesome herself and knows a lot about the Westchester area. Highly recommend.”

I’m punctual, dependable, and full of energy—whether your pet needs long walks, playtime at the park, or just some extra love and attention, I’m happy to provide it. I’m also experienced with a wide range of pet needs, including puppies. I am available Monday - Thursday (after 2:30) as well as Fridays and weekends (any time)! I begin teaching high school in September and availability will differ. In my own home, I spoil my little babies 🥰 I feed my cats dry food twice a day, stock their water fountain with water, keep the dry food stocked, and clean their litter boxes. I give them outside time as long as they stay close or just have the back screen door open to let them see, smell, and hear the nature. Occasionally, I will take them in walks in the kitty stroller with the dog on the leash. When taking care of other people’s cats, I treat them with the same love I would my own. I am happy to care for them in all the same ways, including spending time with them, not just running in and out to feed and clean. I also usually provide photo updates. I take care of my dog by feeding him dry food, letting him out every three hours, taking him on walks as often as possible, giving him snuggles, playing fetch, giving treats, etc. so pretty much treat my dog like a king. I am happy to do the same for you!

About: I had an Akita for almost 10 years and have had many dogs in the past. I took her on long walks and gave her baths and fed her. I would also have to give her medicine occasionally when prescribed. She was the best dog I could’ve ever asked for.
