“1st time booking with Stephanie and she was nothing short of amazing! One of my kitties is a diabetic and she took such great care of her, the communication was wonderful, she made sure to keep me updated throughout the weekend. 10/10 will book again with her! 💕”

About: I have cared for my neighbors dogs for the past 2 years. My work with them has included checking on them almost daily (one being a senior dog and the other being a puppy) cleaning their cages and outdoor space, as well as feeding them! A few times I have stayed overnight with them as well. I grew up caring and tending for my own dog Tucker, who is featured in most of the photos in my profile. He was a black lab border collie and until he recently passed, was my best friend in the whole world. I took him for walks daily, and as he got older and had trouble walking up the stairs, would carry him up some nights and tuck him into bed before he fell asleep. I also grew up with a bunny named Leroy who brought me so much joy! Currently I am home after graduating college! I will start my full time nursing job in mid August in Chicago, but for right now I am available Monday-Friday until Mid August. Safety is the most important thing when caring for pets in a client’s home. The most important quality I bring as a sitter is great communication. If there is an issue or I have a question, communication with the client is my top priority. Along with communication, I always respect all of the boundaries that a client may set and will always put respecting their environment on the top of my list.

About: I have taken animal science classes for past 4 years and previously worked at doggy daycare and boarding facilities. I am also proficient on administering many specialized medications such as insulin and heart meds. I have been taking care of pets since I was 12 years old and have worked with all types of dogs from Chihuahua puppies to senior Great Danes. I am currently working part time, usually from home while going into the office a few days a week. I would be free to visit any pups all throughout the day on most weekdays, usually Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, as well as the weekend. I always ensure that whatever animal I am taking care of is comfortable and feels that they are in a safe environment as well as others around them. Being with people other than their parents can be a stressful situation for some pets and I work to make that encounter as stress free as possible.

“More than amazing! She was always there to take care of the pups! Completely understanding the needs and the job, very professional/reasonable. I haven’t been able to leave my 3 dogs in some time, but now we have someone to count on and trust. Thank you for being great and there for our fur babies.”

About: I’ve spent my whole life around furry friends and miss the joy and connection they bring. I’ve been walking and watching my neighbors cats and dogs for most of my life. I’ve become well trained in administering medications and deep cleaning litter boxes. I’ve mastered all basic skills needed for caring for our friends I’m currently a student but that doesn’t mean I don’t have plenty of time to hang out with your cats and dogs! I’m quite the homebody so when I’m not in class I love to be in my dorm. I also have large gaps between my classes meaning I can definitely take them out/on walks throughout the entire day! I will follow any rules you have around your home as I do not want to disrupt your space. When it comes to taking care with animals I believe that communication with the owner is key (along with sending update photos of their furry friends so they can see they’re doing well!) When taking care of an animal they are my top priority rain or shine.

About: I am currently a student at UNH with lots of availability this summer. I’ve had years of experience walking and sitting all different types of dogs and would love to help out in any way I can! I am currently working part time and have lots of time to care for your pets. I am available all day Monday-Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. I have work until 3pm on Thursdays and Saturdays but am also available after that time! When caring for pets in your home I will maintain their usual routine to keep them relaxed and happy. I’ll make sure to keep an eye on them if they are out in a yard and make sure they get plenty of attention!

“Nicole was terrific! She did a great job getting our older & very shy cat to take her medicine and overall took wonderful care of our two cats while we were away. It was great to know that they were in such good hands and we would definitely ask Nicole to sit for us again.”

“Kiley did a great job taking care of my pet for 4 days while my family was on vacation. She listened to all of my small details and gave me peace of mind while I was away. Highly recommend!”

“Courtney did a two-time drop in for our dogs and cats and was communicative and super great with them. She sent a picture and update after the drop-in and even left us a handwritten note. We are SO happy we found her!”

About: I combine patience, experience, and genuine affection for pets of all kinds. Whether it’s an energetic pup, a gentle senior, or a shy cat, I adapt to meet their needs and make them feel at home. Taking care of pets is part of my regular routine. I like to get outside and stay active by walking and running dogs, and I make sure to spend quality time giving pets the attention and love they deserve. It’s something I enjoy and look forward to fitting into my days. I prioritize safety and comfort above all when caring for pets. Whether I’m visiting your home or welcoming pets into mine, I will make sure the environment is clean, secure, and pet-friendly. I will also follow any specific instructions you provide and keep a close eye on your pet’s behavior to ensure they’re happy and safe at all times. Building trust with both pets and owners is important to me, so I communicate openly and am responsive to any needs or concerns.

About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs ever since I was 9. I grew up with them, so I understand what they need and when they need it. I’m very caring towards animals and i love them!! I’m available on weekdays and weekends. I am a recent college graduate still seeking a permanent job however Rover is something I enjoy working for!! I am more than willing to be flexible if my calendar is booked! I care for pets by providing them a safe environment with lots of love and attention. I also love giving them attention and playing with them. I would take your pet(s) on frequent walks and provide lots of attention!

About: Growing up in a large family taught me responsibility early on, while also beginning to pet-sit at age 14. Though I initially pursued pre-vet studies driven by my love for animals, I chose to focus on sustainable agriculture and food access while continuing to care deeply for my own pets and yours! I have hands-on experience working on a farm and caring for dogs and cats at home. With experience in caring for puppies, seniors, and pets with unique needs, I provide calm, grounded, and loving attention that helps your animals feel safe and cherished! I’m currently working part-time at my local farmers markets, but have a lot of availability in between! With many days off during my week, I’d have plenty of time to spend with your pet! I love spending time outside and playing with your pet, making sure they get plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. Whether in your home or mine, I tailor care to each pet’s unique health needs, including administering medication when required. I have experience caring for senior dogs and always prioritize keeping pets comfortable, happy, and safe in their own environment. My goal is to provide attentive, loving care that respects your pet’s routine and individual personality.

About: I've always had family pets, and had an integral role in caring for them: walking and running with my dog, feeding my dog and cats, and maintaining a fish tank. I also have volunteered at the NH SPCA and have had opportunities to work with the animals under their care. I currently work part-time with flexibile hours. I am entering my sophomore year in college this August and am looking to work part-time animal care on Rover! I have flexible availability and there are not certain days which do not work for me. Building a trusting relationship with your pet matters to me! I want your animal to feel safe with me, and I'm willing to necessary take steps to ensure this! I live an active lifestyle and am willing to walk, run, or hike with your pup, for longer or shorter distances (whatever will make your furry friend the happiest :)).

About: I have had lots of experience taking care of animals. As I was younger I learned how to take care of my family’s senior cat who needed a lot of help! This was in addition to helping out with other cats, dogs, and puppies owned by friends and family! I also have some experience working at an animal hospital, so I have a pretty good understanding of how to give medications to animals as well. Currently I have two 7 years old cats that I raised from when they were 5 weeks old and very sickly unfortunately, so they still need a lot of care. Taking care of animals brings me so much joy and I can’t wait to meet yours! I currently am an online student part-time at Great Bay Community College, so I do have plenty of free time that I want to put towards caring for animals. My schedule is currently pretty flexible, and I would be happy to work with clients and their schedules. I think trust is very important especially when letting someone into your home and caring for your pets! I like to keep open communication and make owners feel as comfortable as possible to provide peace of mind while away from their pets.

“Anna is a delight of a pet sitter. She is responsible, reliable, and easy to communicate with. Our three cats, even the timid, skittish one, clearly felt very comfortable with her, as shown in the adorable close-up photos she sent. I would highly recommend Anna to anyone looking for a gentle and compassionate caretaker for their pets.”

About: I am a teacher who found a great love for taking care of peoples fur babies. My aunt was a dog breeder in Canada so I grew up around many pups, and I have found I love their energy. I am a dance teacher/actor who is looking to fill some hours. I have many hours open and would love to be getting the neighborhood sniifs in with your pooch! I have 2 of my own, so I am very aware of pets needs. Also being a teacher I naturally read the room and try to be fluid with that energy. I approach with a calm energy and let them come to me, without eye contact. When they engage we have a fun time with a treat or some snuggles. Then an adventure outdoors!

Marion H.
“I've known Marion Hess for almost two years. She is a dog lover! When Marion offered her availability to take care of dogs when she was home from college on breaks, on our town's local facebook page. I contacted her, and she started walking our black lab mix rescue dog Chloe. She not only walks Chloe, she plays with her and takes her on walks on our town's trails. Chloe is always ecstatic to see her and runs to Marion's car to jump in. Having interacted with Marion many times since the spring of 2022, I can say without reservation that she is extremely well-qualified to take care of dogs. She is also a great communicator, prompt, reliable and of course, kind. It's been my pleasure (and Chloe's) to know Marion. We look forward to seeing her, as usual, when she is home on breaks from college. Sincerely, Beth Butler”
