I have a large creek that runs through my yard as well. We have a fenced area and I take dogs on leads to the outskirts of the fence and to the creek! Feeding is all done separately as I do not allow my dogs to eat together. Potty breaks are every hour-two hours!

Unfortunately (with the exception of when I was very little and one year as a teenager living with my mother) I grew up without dogs living with my father in an apartment.
