Pet care experience
I have cared and loved animals all my life. I have earned the nickname of Ranger Rick (the children's nature magazine) since I am known of a huge animal enthusiast. I'm the type to stop traffic to move a turtle off the road, or to try to save anything I find, from bugs to birds to lost pets. As a child growing up I was the neighborhood pet sitter. I grew up owning birds, ferrets and of course dogs. From a large loveable Rottweiler to a sassy chihuahua, I've had experience with many different types of dogs. I also have worked with a professional dog walking and sitting business for a few years. I try to volunteer at Friends of Homeless Animals on the weekends. I understand how a family pet is not just a pet, they are more like a member of your family and I will always treat your fur baby as one of my own.

Zohal was great. Was able to help us watch our cat on short notice. He needed insulin shots and she already knew how to administer them. Zohal was even nice enough to bring in some packages while we were away. Would highly recommend her.
This was at least our 5th stay with Zohal and it's great every time! Timely community and we took advantage of the free drop off this time. What a perk!
Great attitude and very professional.
If I could leave 0 stars, I would. Very long story short, after installing my Ring doorbell, it became obvious that, while Zohal was excitedly and pleasantly agreeing to walk Capone, and accepting payment for these walks, that she actually never came. It took many months to have my money refunded for the 3 incidences I could prove after installing my doorbell - who knows how many times before that. It also took many months for my key to be returned, only to find it is not even the key to my house! So, I imagine she probably doesn’t know which key belongs to which home, meaning she probably fails to take many people’s dogs out. My biggest heartburn throughout this entire experience is thinking of the number of times my poor dog was kept in a kennel for 12+ hours, while I thought he was getting play time in between.

I would like to know the truth! Good and bad, if they have special allergies or medications, and also little quirks about the dog. Dogs bark, dogs pee, dogs can be annoying at times and that is fine by me but I like to know before hand instead of getting a surprise while I have a dog in my home :) it helps me know how to react if we are on a walk or how they will interact with certain dogs.
A typical day
My neighborhood has a fenced in dog park but also great trails that are away from traffic and homes,where I love to take my dogs for long walks. I love being outdoors so it's never a problem getting your dogs energy out. I walk over ten miles a day so I'm an active person that loves to get a dogs energy out if needed.
