Of course, I would like to know any health issues the dog has or medications to administer so that I know what care they need and what I should do in an emergency situation. It would also be good to know if your dog is particularly strong and their typical behavior on walks so I can be prepared and keep them safely secured. Other than that, I love dogs of all sizes and breeds!

I live in beautiful Chapel Hill, where there are plenty of shaded neighborhoods to walk in and explore as well as bike paths and parks nearby. If your dog has lots of energy, we can play fetch or tug-of-war at the park or even go for a run together. If not, I can take your pet on peaceful walks — my family's poodle gets tired halfway through a walk around the block when it's hot out, so I'm used to carrying her home. I always want to make sure a dog is comfortable with me, so I try to let especially anxious dogs know that I'm not a threat and talk to them softly until they're relaxed around me. If you'd like, I can take your dog walking in more scenic spots, like hiking trails or around the lake. Or we can just hang out in your yard or home — whatever your pup prefers!
