I got my first dog (a catahoula) when I was in fourth grade when she was six months old, and a couple years later, added a retriever/afghan mix to the family. We sadly lost them both to old age, but we now have a german shepherd/retriever puppy. In addition to daily care for them, I have lots of experience dog sitting for family members (including two pit mixes), my professors (one has a sweet little terrier), as well as my boyfriend's german shepard and basenji. I can handle multiple dogs at a time, and have experience walking multiple dogs at once. I also worked at Petsmart and have training in handling animals, as well as training on how to get acquainted with and get along with new animals.
