Pet care experience
I have been dog-sitting through Rover for almost 5 years now. I graduated in 2022 with a pre-vet animal science degree from Andrews University. Originally I was wanting to become a vet, but decided that role wasn’t for me. I have also spent 8 months learning dog behavior after my graduation. Currently I am working at a local vets office full time in a secondary role, but am still doing Rover on the side! I love interacting with all animals and have plenty of experience with dogs, cats, goats, sheep, cows, chickens, and even more! I have been around animals all my life and feel they are such an important aspect to life. I enjoy working with organizations that help animals in shelters, and for the past few years my family has been working with PetsConnect and fostering kittens until they are adopted!

I am very attentive and want pets to feel comfortable and safe with me. I allow them to get to know me at their pace and what they are comfortable with. Each pet is a little different and what works with one may not work with another! Whatever needs they have, I will be able to accommodate.

Any medications needed or particular things regarding feeding. I like to know their typical routine or what they are used to doing. If the dog is an escape artist, a heads up is fantastic!
A typical day
I love going on walks and typically go around the neighborhood where they are familiar. If your pets like to play with toys, I definitely will play with them!
